#8 & #7 - Excellent - I like where you are going with this. Maybe add in a L&H or something along with it or integrate into the logo - so it could be something that we might use just the Initials for a design without spelling out the Long and Hard.
#10 #11, #12 On the right track - lets take a look at these with the the word GOLF big below Long and Hard - just to see how this looks with the animals in the logo. I like it how it is - but to see the word GOLF below might be a good variation.
