Thanks for the entry. The barbed wire is a nice touch. Any ideas on how to make it look more like a medallion or even possibly a belt buckle? Probably more like a medallion...or perhaps something similar to the Texas Rangers badge. It has a circle around a brass star in the middle. Just a thought.
These are very nice. We are trying to decide if we like the 3D star or the one in #10 best. They are both very good. Our client has asked to see one variation of your entry #10 with a Texas flag waving in the middle (background) of the circle. Not sure if you will be able to see the flag very well, but I told them that I would ask. Can you think of a way to do this without compromising your basic concept? Your thoughts?
Thanks for your patience. Here is some specific feedback. Hope it is helpful.
We would like to see variations on color and font styles for image #8. We are going for a kind of rustic feel/western feel and we think it should be less shiny brass/gold...perhaps another color with slightly deeper tones. We also like #9, but would like to see the barbed wire outlining the star rather than centered within it. Finally, we would like to see the red and blue fill replaced with red, white and blue all filling the circle and in the correct placement behind the star to represent the Texas flag. Thanks in advance for your effort and ideas.
The cut away star concept is really nice. The client liked this idea. They just seem to be stuck on the water splash theme that one of the other designers came up with. Our client asked if you were from Texas, and I said yes. They could tell your designs were the most true to Texas style, look and feel. That is a huge compliment!
Thank you for your kind words, which inspired me to put my authentic Texas mark through the carwash, showing the top as clean and shiny (although still rustic) with the cleaning bubbles dripping to the bottom... I hope you/they like it.
