Could you please try the perforated metal effect in background a bit bigger, so as you can actually see what it is more easily. I just think the dots are a bit small at the moment on #6 and #5.
Secondly, any cance you could try a version where the name text is included wih the badging more. I don't like the way it is sitting loose on the side (#6) and under (see #5).
I like #11, however please remove the outer shadow effect. Logo must work as a badge on motor vehicle, and outer shadow effect is too difficult.
Thanks James
PS: Any chance you could also try a version with all letters in the Orange, including the large 'VDR' letters ?? Maybe also try an ellipse shape instead of a rectangle as well. Thx
#19: this is one without the shadow. I have also darkened the interior texture just a bit so as to give more contrast to the lettering. I am currently working on the other revisions you requested. Thank you for the positive feedback.
I still think the name text is too small beneath the 'VDR', and as such I'd like to see it larger. I have mocked up what I'm thinking in Photoshop, using a screengrab. This change relates to #19.
PLease only carry out this change if it is quick and simple. A basic shape will be good enough to start with. No need to spend heaps of time making look perfect. Leave that till after we approve concept first.
RE: #61. Hey, great work. Thanks. No need to do any more variations. let me discuss that one with my business partner first. please just show on white background as well. Thanks james :)
I also thought you were more of a fan of my #117 than #62. I know it has a stronger link to your industry because of the hexagonal shape, but I also think there are plenty of logos (Ford, Apple, HP, Freightliner) that visually have nothing to do with their industry, yet are powerful brands. Just my two cents as a designer.
