Comment Activity BusinessBuilders commented on #62 Withdrawn I have it ready but need to be in 1st place - your note came in after I went to sleep. 5 years ago clone5 commented on #62 Withdrawn please add back missing thin border 5 years ago clone5 commented on #57 Withdrawn One last revision This version but with the writing from #48 5 years ago clone5 commented on #51 Withdrawn OK, ready :) 5 years ago clone5 commented on #51 Withdrawn Hold tight - I need some revisions on the other ppl 5 years ago BusinessBuilders commented on #51 Withdrawn I cannot upload unless I am in 1st place again. Carol 5 years ago BusinessBuilders commented on #51 Withdrawn thanks 5 years ago clone5 commented on #51 Withdrawn I will I don't think the writing works in this one but the hand from #53 is perfect and its dimensions should replace all others I am at a crossroads in this phase as I will be presenting the top 4 logos on Thursday AEDST 5 years ago clone5 commented on #53 Withdrawn Lovely 5 years ago BusinessBuilders commented on #53 Withdrawn lowered and adjusted the 'thumbs' 5 years ago BusinessBuilders commented on #51 Withdrawn Let me know if you want to see other variations. 5 years ago BusinessBuilders commented on #50 Withdrawn I can do this only if the logo is in 1st position in the Selection phase of the contest. Let me know when you have changed that and I will make the edits. You said you wanted to make cufflinks or pins and this simple design would lend itself to that concept very well. Carol 5 years ago clone5 commented on #50 Withdrawn I have some minor tweaking. I am advised that the middle finger is a little high. Can you lower it to about half way between where it is now and the height of the other two. Change the thick border to a thin border around the stone with the writing outside in the blue. I also want to lower the two side "thumbs" toward the equator as a test, but on a separate example Thanks 5 years ago clone5 commented on #47 Withdrawn Please do this one also with white hamsa. No change to anything else 5 years ago BusinessBuilders commented on #34 Withdrawn OK do you want the same font or different - in blue or the sand color? 5 years ago clone5 commented on #44 Withdrawn Sorry, doesn't quite work... The proportions are out I think we'll focus on the your other ones 5 years ago clone5 commented on #34 Withdrawn I've been looking at your #3 and the proportions of the hand a slightly different to this one. It is only subtle but it is more favourable. Please make this one the same as that. Also if you would remove the banner and name altogether and do a free flowing text underneath 5 years ago clone5 commented on #39 Withdrawn Smaller scale brickwork? Larger hand with fingers starting to protrude over the edge of the circle 5 years ago BusinessBuilders commented on #39 Withdrawn Hope this is how you want it. Carol 5 years ago clone5 commented on #26 Withdrawn Also slightly sharpen the fingers on the side. 5 years ago clone5 commented on #26 Withdrawn Would you please replace this brick wall with the one from #34 5 years ago BusinessBuilders commented on #34 Withdrawn thanks 5 years ago clone5 commented on #34 Withdrawn That's good 5 years ago clone5 commented on #33 Withdrawn Can you make the brick's pointing a little more subtle, like the SMgraphics submission 5 years ago clone5 commented on #33 Withdrawn Can you remove the small brick pieces and extend those which are cut off by the circle? When I mentioned sandstone, I refer to your #3 work Yellow and blue is the colour of one of our football teams and not ideal 5 years ago clone5 commented on #33 Withdrawn No problem And sandstone colour instead of gold? 5 years ago BusinessBuilders commented on #33 Withdrawn tried rough like the example and it just didn't look good - here is another variation. 5 years ago BusinessBuilders commented on #27 Withdrawn my primary business is promotional merchandise - so I understand how to do a version that would work for those applications as well. - and some things I could actually get for you in Australia! (depending on details) 5 years ago BusinessBuilders commented on #28 Withdrawn I can work on that as well C 5 years ago BusinessBuilders commented on #25 Withdrawn pick which you prefer most and I can delete it from the design. 5 years ago clone5 commented on #27 Withdrawn must be simpler we would also use the logo on a tie and/or cuff links 5 years ago clone5 commented on #28 Withdrawn I see where you're going but the result is at odds with the balance of the image. Instead of the circle at all, what about a rough brick wall similar to the inverse of this uneven look around the edges, but simple and stylised - like your original wall from #5, https://t3.ftcdn.net/jpg/01/08/79/62/500_F_108796246_HGOsZSySt7wzLfQEEMLFmGkSJQy3EcLL.jpg 5 years ago clone5 commented on #25 Withdrawn No need for the S&C on these We are happy without them on these more modern designs 5 years ago BusinessBuilders commented on #27 Withdrawn made vector from an actual photo I took at the western wall - however this would make your logo 'full color' and sometime hard to print so you may need a version with fewer colors that would eliminate the wall effect. 5 years ago BusinessBuilders commented on #26 Withdrawn I need to go through thousands of my photos from my 5 trips to Israel to find a good one of the wall for the pattern - I dont want to use the internet photos - that is really against the site rules. But that will be fun - may take a while. thanks fo working with me. Carol 5 years ago clone5 commented on #10 Withdrawn I've noticed that the bricks here are stacked rather than interlocking Can you make them more interlocked and like the Western Wall - if you get my meaning 5 years ago clone5 commented on #7 Withdrawn No problem There are a few miles and time zones between us 5 years ago clone5 commented on #3 Withdrawn This continues to intrigue the members and I think they have warmed to it's modern feel. Need to introduce some blue. Can I see the white hand and writing in the dark blue. 5 years ago clone5 commented on #10 Withdrawn The colour scheme from #7 is more desirable at this time and will mute the sun's rays a little 5 years ago clone5 commented on #10 Withdrawn The proportions of the hand are good Would you make it larger in the same aspect ration so that the finger begin to protrude over the top of the circle 5 years ago BusinessBuilders commented on #9 Withdrawn brighter colors 5 years ago BusinessBuilders commented on #10 Withdrawn color shift and made a shadow behind hand to make it pop. 5 years ago BusinessBuilders commented on #7 Withdrawn Sorry I am less responsive than usual - spent over 5 hours waiting at the Social Security office today - I am not in a positive state to work well on your design - will try more tomorrow! Thanks for working with me. Carol 5 years ago clone5 commented on #7 Withdrawn Please change the proportionss of the hand as the side fingers are now very big. They should be more subtle like #6. Their position is now very high on the hand with short fingers 5 years ago clone5 commented on #7 Withdrawn Please try a negative image type thing or mess with the colours so that inside is prominent and bold rather than pale 5 years ago clone5 commented on #7 Withdrawn These two are really interesting I need to have a good look through them to give feedback 5 years ago BusinessBuilders commented on #6 Withdrawn hope new ones better fit what you want. 5 years ago clone5 commented on #6 Withdrawn another thought - if the whole hand was stone and the sunburst coming from behind the hand 5 years ago BusinessBuilders commented on #6 Withdrawn I saw all the requests - will have to work on this tomorrow sorry for a delay - lots of business meetings. 5 years ago clone5 commented on #6 Withdrawn When combining this logo with #3, perhaps the name could be free standing and not negative inside that curved bar 5 years ago clone5 commented on #6 Withdrawn The proportions of this is taller than it is wide I like the proportions of #3 more as it has a bit more width. The hand itself is even more similar in height and width 5 years ago clone5 commented on #6 Withdrawn and I forgot to mention the dove! It is very masculine now, perhaps tone it down a little as it is more like a war bird instead of a peace one. Middle finger to be a little shorter 5 years ago clone5 commented on #6 Withdrawn I like that you've rounded the base Would like to incorporate elements from #3 that I previously mentioned Top of wall to be irregular Square and compasses smaller I don;t think the writing works on this one but may work similar to #3 5 years ago BusinessBuilders commented on #5 Withdrawn working on that today between work projects. 5 years ago clone5 commented on #5 Withdrawn I also like the idea of the dimensions and the rising sun of your #3 submission but replace that hand with the #5 5 years ago clone5 commented on #5 Withdrawn thanks Was originally thinking writing should be contained inside the hand (as mentioned in the brief) but also open to outside it along the bottom either curved or straight either cutting through the hand or below it 5 years ago BusinessBuilders commented on #5 Withdrawn will work on this more later - have to go to a meeting for the rest of today. Glad we can work together on this. 5 years ago clone5 commented on #5 Withdrawn Lines between middle fingers to be further removed. Middle finger reduce height a little. Brick wall to be less regular in both the size of the blocks and along the top of the wall Can you try the dove facing front with wing outstretched? 5 years ago clone5 commented on #4 Withdrawn 3 middle fingers do not need to have lines coming down into the hand Maybe give yourself more room inside the palm by widening it? Old city is iconic but not preferred - would like to see brickwork Try words wrapped inside and outside bottom of the hand 5 years ago BusinessBuilders commented on #3 Withdrawn OK will work on others. 5 years ago BusinessBuilders commented on #1 Withdrawn Have other style Hamsa (I taught a lesson on them a few weeks ago to the 4th graders) I have to go back and re-read the brief - was not sure about square and compasses part. maybe explain more? 5 years ago clone5 commented on #3 Withdrawn I don't mind elements of this but it's too stylised with the hand looking like an ear of wheat. It is missing that old city element 5 years ago clone5 commented on #1 Withdrawn Fingers don't need to be so pronounced - less banana-like Needs "square and compasses" 5 years ago
