Thank you so much for entry #1! I love the colors- earthy and bright. But what I love most about the image is the way you are thinking about creatively joining the home and the leaf. Keeping that idea in mind, I would love to see 3 elements merged. 1.) a house 2.) vegetables or something representing healthy cooking and 3.) an outline of a person looking healthy and happy, stretching, breathing in the fresh air and morning sunshine. (I am attaching an image I found to give you an idea of what I mean.)
Also, the font is pretty, but I would like to see something bolder.
We are also looking forward to seeing an emblem-style logo, and I think this image would go really with that!\
Thank you so much! Keep up the good work.

I love this new entry with the round image! and seeing all of our elements combined together! thank you for that! its really what i was hoping for. i would love to see perhaps more of a "real" looking person and home. something that felt more lifelike. (i hope that makes sense) and if there was a way to incorporate a sun and maybe another color (blue?) Thanks so much! think "yoga center meets health food store meets one of those great home network channel shows that come into your home and declutters and redesigns yout space!"

Jelena,

also i was just looing through your portfolio and to give you some ideas, i really love the "bacyard activist" with the whale and the business name all in the circle.. and the thrift store image with the globe and name wrapping around each other. just to give you some ideas.. i'd love to see ideas of the images and business name together somehow also. and the font is very open to change as well. THANKS!!!!

Entry #12 is illustrating my vision in a BIG way. I absolutely love the person you chose, sitting down, with their hands up in the air, looking up, enveloped in sunshine, WITHIN the house! Great work! I wish there was a way to incorporate healthy food, but I myself am having trouble seeing how it can be incorporated. I would like to see a more elegant font, curved around the image. I'm going to sit with this one for awhile and will give more feedback soon. Thank you so much for seeing the vision!

wow, the more i look at entry #12, the more i fall in love with it! i'd like to see the circle border, perhaps not have the graident affect and be a solid color. green or blue earthy color.

and yes, a different font here could really make it feel more professional and elegant.

also, im wondering if its possible to make it earth shape.

wow! thank you so much! these new entrys are wonderful!

few thoughts, would love to stay away from the farm look. i actually liked the simply green grassy hills you had in entry #12.

for entry #23, i'd love to see the slogan a little bigger. (the font seems a little hard to read) also, maybe you could remove that light green ring from the center and jsut have the rays of the sun against the main green border. also, i would love to see the font in possibly one other different choice? something more professional and less bubbly?

and if you could capitalize the "Health" please.

in entry #25, i love how all the words are in the circle, except they dont feel clear enough or big enough to read. i wuold love to see the words be a little stronger.

THANK YOU!!!

wow... i LOVE entry #36! i love the stars, they add a great mystical feel! and i love the lightness of it!! I definitely like it better without the rings.

one major concern i have, when this logo is placed on a business card, the words for the slogan are going to be way too small. im wondering now, if we should eliminate having the slogan. can you give me your experience with this and what you think? i think i am now leaning towards just having the name of the business and the image. perhaps keeping it free from a border like in entry #36 and having the font bigger and bolder with the image coming out from it either on the top or the bottom?

Thank you soooo much!!!!

Here, I updated person in house, also shortened slogan
also there are positions which can be used on businesscards with smaller logo with business name and slogan aside.

thank you so much..

what i am really wanting to see is the image and business name only now. like in entry #12.

and i would love to see the rays coming out of the circle.. not having it limited to just a round circle and the rays stopping but radiating out freely and artisticly. (think outside the circle, let the rays expand)

what i am seeing is the name "living light" only with the image coming out and up from behind the words...

something like this...
http://palhalfmarathon.com/images/sunset_logo.jpg
(not in style, but in shapes, how the name is part of the image and the image radiates from the name)

but with a nice equal balance with the size of the name and the image.

Thanks!!!!

Also, I am just noticing now that the legs in #36 look a little weird. I see you tried to change them in #39. I like the style better in #36, but can you make it so that you can see the knees, and only a little of, or none at all of, the feet.

Take a look at this link: http://i3.findmyorganizer.com/dynamic/thumbs/photos-category/photossection530/tricia/final_logo.png.jpg

Would you mind trying something like that on entry #36? I like how it is 3 dimensional and would love to see one entry look like that. In fact, I just got the funny image of the person and house rising up out of chaos.

I am really excited about your design, and feel in love with it at first sight, and I am looking forward to some minor variations in symmetry.

Client
Thank you for all the wonderful variations on your design. All of them feel much brighter and look great. Thank you for listening to our vision!!! Your hard work has paid off! You have given us a lot of different ideas to work with and I feel ready to create 3 final designs using what you have given us. We are almost certain that we will go with one of these final designs for our logo.

Use the style of #48- the same size, the same style sun rays, the same person, house, star above the head, font size, etc, with the following changes in color:

Design #1- Make the house the peach color you used for the background in #49, the person the color blue you used for the person in #49. The sunrays the color of (but not style of) the rays you used in #49 and #50. The font the color and style of #49.

Design #2- The house the same blue color as in #48, the person the lighter green used for the top part of the person in #48, the sun rays the color of the background in #50 or with a bold shimmery gold. The font as in #49.

Design #3- The house the color of the background in #50, the person blue like #49, And a totally different example of radiance, nothing like "sun rays", but using hte colors gold and orange. The font as in #36 but darker.

We like the bright spot in the seat of the person as in #36, in addition to a bright spot behind the person as in #48, or above the person as in #50.

Finally, I would like to see the ground underneath the person to be symetrical, extending from the edges of the name, in a slightly raised hill. Not nearly as much as in #36, but a tiny bit more than #48.

Hope that's not too much work! Hopefully we won't have to make any revisions after this. Thanks so much.

The new designs aren't doing it for me. The house and the person need to stand out from each other, be very bold, like the colors you used in #49 and #50. The house and the person are the most important elements and are the forefront of the image. If you can outline the house, or make it so that the rays don't connect with the house that will help. And the sun rays are just an accent, shouldnt take over the image or be as loud as in #53, I want them to be a bright yet soft color. And they should be the length they are in #48, not longer. Can you change the font for the business name so its not outlined, make the hill simple, smooth and symmetrical, make the rays less dominant- make them thinner and one color. And make the person and house stand out more?

Client
We've got some ideas that i think will finalize our vision ... For the final entry-

business name color like in entry #55
but not in all capital letters, just like this "Living Light"
and with a new font: http://news.office-watch.com/articlefiles/871-Gabriola%20font%20-%20sample.jpg

I want to change the style of the hill you have been using. I want it to have clean, smooth lines, a solid color (the same dark green as the circle in entry #49 no gradient). Please make the hill very thin and plain with no lines in it or jagged edges. The peak of the hill is at the center and it graduates smoothly down. It should be a perfectly even, smooth, symetrical slope, and flat bottom. Just clean smooth lines with solid fill color. Place it directly above the business name.

Take the exact same wrap-around circle with the exact same peach-colored fill in you used in entry #49 except without the leaf. Place it behind the hill as you placed it behind the business name as in #49 but you don't see the bottom of the circle because it will be behind the hill. Connect it with the hill. It should look like it is a sun rising out from the hill. You can keep it the same size proportion to the business name as you did in #49.

Then draw a dark blue outline of the house (same color as person from #53) on the peach background inside the circle.

Place the exact person from # 53 inside the house as you have been doing. Add a white spot in their head. And a star above the head like in entry #54.

Change the style of the sun rays. Please refer to entry #46 and these two links for the style:
http://reikibythewaves.com/resources/gi_crown-chakra.jpg?timestamp=1262629507953
http://www.istockphoto.com/file_thumbview_approve/3772213/2/istockphoto_3772213-trophy-with-laurel-wreath-and-sun-rays.jpgh

Make the sun rays the exact same color as the peach background that you will be using but with thin, symmetrical sun rays coming out from the circle that go from thicker to thinner. They should not distract from the person and house, but be an accent.

please keep the sun rays around the circle, going down to the ground, extending no further than to the edge of the business name.

We will be checking the contest into the night so we can respond to your image right away. We will be available to work with you so if there is a last minute tweaking we can take care of it then. Looking forward to the final design!!

Great!!!
We are going to go with entry #58 with a few variations and tweaks:

1. Enlarge the house, person, and star but keep everything else the same size. I would like to see it the size it is on #54.
2. We want to see the edges of the roof on the house, like the images you have been working with, for example, #54.
3. Outline the house in a color that goes more with the house, like dark orange or something. Make it blend better.
4. Keep the rays exactly as they are (they are awesome!) with the light blue dusting as you have it, but change the color to more of the orange from #54.
5. Also I'd like to see what it looks like if you try bringing the name up closer to the image a tiny bit.

Beyond that we'd like to see a few more color variations:
-We want the blue house with the green person from #54, but just try to make them stand out from each other better. They are not very clear and distinctive in #54.
-we also want to see a bright orange person the color of #50 in the blue house
-and a dark blue person in a light blue house or a dark blue person in a bright orange house? (all the houses outlined to make them clearer) We just need some variations. If you have an inspiration for one that looks great we would love to see that.

In conclusion, I love how clear the image is in #58, but I love how #'s 54, 48, and 53 feel really bright and vibrant.

Can't wait to see what you've got! Will be checking in frequently to give feedback. Thanks again!

thank you so much for doing this so quickly!

the new image is very blurry??? can this be undone? and resubmitted?

with these 2 changes:

1) take away blue backround color
2) insert leaf from entry#75

and a second entry with all the same as above but with a totally new leaf idea..

something flowing with vines? or another different shape?? We like this idea: http://www.pgraphics.biz/images/logodesign/vinefinallogo_outlined.jpg

thanks!!

also, can you give us a new entry with the same design, but with a totally different color scheme all around? perhaps changing the tone and feel of the image from cartoon pastels to rich authentic earth colors?

and another idea for a leaf concept is this

i love the new leaf in entry #81!! it really brings some energy of growth and life to the image! thank you...
i would love to see it, coming out from the ground more and even extending out into the rays of the sun more, like an arbor but also keeping it very simple and clear

sorry for being vague about color scheme.. yes leave all elements but im seeing a more earthy color scheme, perhaps something like these...

jelena,

i apologize in advance if this is too much to ask, but given that we have already invested our money and energy to working with you, i must be honest and open about how we feel. we would like to see another logo from you with a new design. we realize the contest is over and we are in the judging phase now, but we are not fully satisfied with the logos that are presented to us at this point and have a pretty clear idea of what we would like to see.

what we would like is a trinity ying yang :
THIS REALLY INSPIRED US: http://media.merchantcircle.com/5520961/mto-logo_medium.png
http://rechargingqigong.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/3forces-logo.jpg
http://etc.usf.edu/clipart/42800/42897/circle-03_42897_lg.gif

with an image of the same three elements that are already present: house, person and leaf in each section of the circle with the star in the middle!

with a smaller version of the radiance gently extending beyond the circle and the name Living Light on the top and the circle coming out of a hill.

now, if your ready for a good laugh, i tried to create what i was seeing on illustrator : http://www.barefootprincess.net/2009/03/blog-post.html

i hope you arent upset with this new request, let me know how you feel! we totally understand if this is too much to ask at this point, please be honest. also, we know a logo needs to stay simple, so we want that too.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

Beautiful. I love the leaves. We love #82 and that can be out fall back if the following changes don't work-

We were advised that using gradient in our design will be costly to print, so even though we are loving the way the design looks right now, we want to at least see what it looks like with no gradient.

Try the solid green and solid blue seen here: http://media.merchantcircle.com/5520961/mto-logo_medium.png I like the way the designer made the colors look like they have texture in them. Can you do that? I also like how she used white to make the designs.

Do you have any ideas for making he rays look nice without using gradient? I was thinking they can be the size of the white space used in the rays for #82, or thin and spaced out, with only a few of them, like here: http://www.sunconscious.org/Pictures/Logo.jpg. No matter what we want to see the rays centered. They can be the color orange of the image above, a light yellow, or perhaps one of the colors already featured in the design.

Can't wait to see the new colors!

Lets see one image before you change the rays, and one image after you change the rays.

Hi Fida,
We haven't heard back from you in a little while and the contest is almost over, so we feel a little nervous about that.
We just got something new from someone else, and we really like it. What we love about your image is that when people look at it, they know what it means to live "light." That is the ultimate goal. What we need to see more from you is boldness, crisp, clear images. We are hoping to see your revision soon!

So happy with where you are going with these. Id love to quickly see them without that green hill. I'm having trouble with that hill and don't know what else to do- its just not fitting into the flow of the rest of the design.
If the name was smaller, or the rest of the design bigger in comparison to the name, we might not need the hill to hold the picture and name together.

How can you better incorporate the name into the image? Maybe you have a better idea about where the name should go or how it should look so that it is incorporated into the image. If the name can flow into the image somehow it will be beautiful. Help?

I can even possibly see the orange designs you made form into one circle that encompasses the image.

Also, can you take the gradient out of the vine, make it simpler? Not necessarily smaller, but simpler, clearer? Maybe the vine can form more into ground.

I'm feeling more inspired with these. THANK YOU!!!

#93- i like it so far without the hill, but not with the two leaves in front, at least as they are now. I think I would like them better if they came more around the sides of the house, as if they are holding the house up, maybe a different style leaf to better fit the location, and the same color as the person or the orange lines as we are trying to keep with a 2-3 color scheme.
Also one image without those 2 front leaves.
