Hi - my entry feature a subtle checkerboard flag / banner to relate to speed (racing) and also picnic / bbq / chuckwagon type of feel. The flame in the back is blowing to one side to show movement (again indicating the drive-thru) I created the logo with a rustic feel to tone down any "slick-ness" that's associated with drive-thru food. I think it reinforces the fact that your food is still a personal, quality product.
