We like how prominant Lithos is in entry #4. We like entry #5, but maybe with more brown, and slightly less orange.

Is the black background in entry #8 part of the logo file? If we put this on a white business card, will there be a black square around the logo?

That's just background. If you use in the white background, you only use the oval as main logo.
