Love where this is headed. Just wondering if you can simply the look of the lion to more modern. Looks too classic or English to me. Looking for more modern design

I like where this is headed. Can you try and make the mane look more like a lions mane. Make the crown more basic and simplify it. Fix the style of writing to more modern. Love the black and white and like the gold one you did too. Maybe try making a gold crown with black and white on the rest of the logo.
