Well, regarding the shape all i can think of is adding small arms, maybe adding more colors will make it more childish. Right now i must leave to finish some things will make the changes as soon as i get back.

Thx for the feedback, yes i could make it but then in my opinion the shadow would use too much space beneath the logo making the logo and the name too much apart.

Is there anyway we can play with this logo and possibly make in more child friendly. maybe to look more like children?

i really like these two logos. I am thinking this may be perfect for my pediatric side. Is there anyway you can make the shadow into a point so fit would look like a heart
