thank you very much for taking time to clear the star matter :)
I understood and i'm working on the modifications required. It shouldn't take long .
thanks again .
I appreciate you asking that question and looking out for your fellow designers. The request came from the client before this process began and it's been the direction I've been consistent in providing to other designers that have submitted logos with winding paths leading to a horizon.
Thank you for all the variations. You did a great job addressing to our requests. Of those submitted, this simple version appeals the most. It's a strong contender. Two things I'd love to see...1) A square version of this logo. Please maintain the grey border around the outside as you've done with the circle. 2) This request will require a slight modification to the path. If possible, I'd like to take the current path and make it more dynamic by widening the side-to side curve of the path. Meaning, instead of it appearing as a more vertically-oriented "S", simply widen the "S" to where it winds further right and left. I'm real curious to see how that looks. I love the 3D appearance you've created. It's really differentiates the logo from all others submitted. Thank you!!
I was hoping for some directions so thank you very much.
I only have to make sure that the 4 point star is a request from you or your client , and not an idea that came from another designer . Tight but fair rules we have here .
I'll try both versions , just to see which one looks better , and upload them as soon as i am happy with how it looks .
Please take a moment and be so kind to clarify my upper question .
Thanks again.
David, despite being a late entry into this contest, I really think this logo has huge potential to be my favorite. The 3D feel gives it some added depth and interest to what's been mostly flat designs to this point. Although I like this "mountain path" version a lot, I was hoping to see a few variations with you playing with the scene above the horizon. The client is looking for the incorporation of a small 4-point star, a guiding star if you will, in the night sky. You can try to incorporate this star with the mountains or remove the mountains altogether and see what it looks like alone in the sky. You're very close on this, so please reach out if you have any questions and I can help provide additional direction. Really nice work. Thanks for the help!
