Comment Activity wendygurl commented on #5 Withdrawn Hi again, Sure, I'd work on this and keep it simple again. Sorry about the recent ones submitted. Re: monochrome logos for printing, I believe the winning designer can comply with it (after the contest is over/winning design chosen) because it's just simple editing. Thanks for updating! 4 years ago jmccarron commented on #5 Withdrawn Hi Wendy. I really appreciate all the work you've done so far. After giving it some thought, the design you have been working on is just too busy. It works well on the computer screen, but probably wouldn't work well embroidered on a shirt or printed small on a postcard. Could you spend some time on this logo? We really like the top, but could you replace the water feature on the bottom with a trail running through a field of green? In other words, we want the trail motif, but less detail. No people, no trees. You could even make the trail white, and rest of the background the same color green as the top. My other question is, could you then duplicate this to be mono-chromatic; ideally, all white so that is shows up well on a t-shirt or sweatshirt? 4 years ago wendygurl commented on #43 Withdrawn Hi again, Please review #47 #48 if they're on track. Thank you! 4 years ago wendygurl commented on #43 Withdrawn Hi again, The idea of reducing the walking figures sounds good since the logo will get busier by adding more trees. Would work on these suggestions. Thank you! 4 years ago jmccarron commented on #43 Withdrawn Hi Wendy- we're getting there, but the trail still looks too artificial. Think wooded, forest trail. Perhaps a tree or two that the trail can wind around? You could also remove the figure in front (right) and the figure with the dog and just focus on the figure with the child, as adding some trees in the foreground and having three figures might make it too busy. What do you think? 4 years ago wendygurl commented on #39 Withdrawn Hi again, Please review #42 and #43. Hoping adding another shade of green is fine. Used it to distinguish grass among trees as with the trail. Thank you! 4 years ago jmccarron commented on #39 Withdrawn Hi Wendy- can you make this a trail instead of boardwalk; like a narrow, winding trail? 4 years ago wendygurl commented on #8 Withdrawn Hi again, Please review #28 if it is on the direction of a forest trail. Hope the addition of wood lines on the path and the grass+trees help out. Thank you! 4 years ago jmccarron commented on #8 Withdrawn Wendy this is still our favorite but we need the trail to look more wooded. We have only forested trails. Perhaps try a version that does not include a stream, but just a forested trail. 4 years ago wendygurl commented on #8 Withdrawn Hi again, Apologies for this version. Please review #11. Hope you'd prefer the trail on that one. Thank you! 4 years ago jmccarron commented on #8 Withdrawn Wendy- this is really great. We're looking for more of a woodsy trail, perhaps alongside a stream. This graphic makes it look more like a sidewalk. Thanks! 4 years ago wendygurl commented on #5 Withdrawn Hi there, Sure. Please review entry #8 if I got what you meant. Thank you! 4 years ago jmccarron commented on #5 Withdrawn Hi Wendy- we really like this logo and prefer it over #4. Could you replace the water feature on the bottom with a scene of someone walking on a trail, and potentially crossing over a boardwalk? Not a backpacker- we only have suburban Town trails, but someone leisurely walking on a trail in a forested setting, perhaps crossing a boardwalk. 4 years ago
