Hello. I don't think it will have any readability issues, it's far from being white, it's just a little lighter than the one you mentioned. It's a matter of personal preference. All colors schemes I uploaded are clearly readable. I can keep this color hue but make it slightly darker if you wish so you can compare.
Hello, do you think this color scheme will have any readability issues with the light color? One person said it comes off less sharp than #961. Thanks!
Agree, when looking at all 3 the original version definitely flows the best. Thanks for sharing the other versions though, it definitely helps with the decision
As for the colors, It's difficult for me to pick one or the other, I like them both I'll share some of my thoughts based on experience. The brighter version is a more popular color combination in the whole health industry, as it's usually associated with clean air, clean water, frieshness, health in general, but this will make it less distinct. The more metalic version is deifnitely more unique, less obvious, brings to mind more technical aspects of the business, or even more scientific which in this case might be a plus. I'd rather avoid going with the brightest and even more vivid version I uploaded earlier, although it might look appealing to some people, it will be very difficult to print and it will always look way more dull when printed as these are not prontable colors so it will only look good on screens.
So, I'm leaning towards the more metalic version when I think science and biotech, but the bright version is also looking great so it's basically a matter of personal prefeence. I hope that helps :)
Here is how it would like with both E's extended, I think it's slightly too narrow. I chose the left E extended to balance the V (lever) based on the length of the V arms. The left one is way shorter and connects to the middle E bar, the send is long and goes to the top bar, so to make V look natural regarding the angle, I had to find a balance. In this case when the right E's top bar is extended, I get the feeling that the white space between the V and E is a bit too big.
Thank you! The reason behind the longer E bar was to make the V look more natural, but that was my personal preference. Here is an updated version with the equal bar length: #965 so you can compare and decide which one suits you better.
This is nice, almost metallic. Curious what you think compared to the brighter look of the others?
I really apologize for the delays. I'd like to get this done ASAP but I'm having a hard time getting ahold of people. It's a holiday weekend here in the US.
I wanted to ask, is the decision to elongate the colored bar in the first E intentional? Would it make sense to move the V a bit to the left to keep the lines the same size?
I'm waiting for a confirmation before officially selecting the winner. I thought it would be done automatically by the website but because it didn't I will need to get the final sign-off. Thanks.
Can you try to increase the contrast between the colors? More navy at the bottom and sky blue at the top (https://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/天青色 is the specific suggestion)
I just uploaded new color revisions, so let me know if you want me to explore some other combinations. As for the PPT template, I can do it for you. We can discuss it later outside the Logotournament site.
Thanks! I think this will be the one! If you have some time before the deadline can you try a slightly darker blue/green? Any other color schemes we haven't considered yet?
Here is an updated one with the original gradient. Looking good! The message is there, the lever is there incorporated into the LEVER part of the name, emphasised RNA and the connection with the lever, V looks like a heartbeat as well so direct connection to health is there, letters E can be associated with databases, analytics, but also with a DNA chain, all looking clean and professional, no overlapping elements so it can easily be used for embroidery on staff clothing. I must say I'm very happy with the outcome :)
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me and I'll share mine as well. Although we can try all the above, here are some potential issues we might encounter: I can try aligning R with the E but the reason most fonts are designed this way is because it looks more natural, we don't want the R to look like a camera with a tripod ;) But I'll explore the idea and see if I can come up with a solution. As for the gradient, We can detach V coloristically but for it to make sense we'd need to also separate it visually as well and we will loose the connection with he horizontal E lines which won't look like a lever/heartbeat anymore, but rather like checkmark. These are just my initial thoughts but I'll definitely explore these ideas and see how this will play out. Please let me know what you think :) Thanks!
From my end it's hard to know if anything should be tweaked. Small things I can think of include 1) aligning the E and R like with the other typeface (not sure if that's practical or really a big issue). 2) playing with the gradient a bit. None of my ideas actually look good in my head but you may have some suggestions. Here's some of my thoughts: make the colored lines of the Es the same color and only have a gradient on the V. Can we also try a vertical gradient instead of horizontal? Thanks!
You're welcome! I'll be online for the next 5-6 hours so please let me know as soon as you have any updates and I'll try to respond as quickly as possible. Thanks!
I just uploaded new color variants with the tagline and some variations of that as well. I experimented with solid colors but also subtle and modern gradients. Please take a look and let me know which direction you like the most. Thanks!
Hello, we really liked your design and will be moving forward with this concept. Do you mind submitting a few different colors/typefaces? People have asked for a bit more polish but can't really articulate what they're looking for. In addition, if you could also submit a version with "therapeutics" included that would be great. Thanks!!
Hello! Thank you for improving the rank of my design. My idea behind it was to combine the lever with the ECG heartbeat indicating stronger connection with health. Also letters E indicate some kind of data storage and analysis and works on different LEVEls. It combines many aspects in a very clean and modern way. I'm glad you like it! Feel free to share your thoughts. Thanks!

Leave the V not bolder. Other colored lines bolder. Let's see if it looks better. I am not sure.

Do you think it would be ok to make the bottom of the V pointed? It might not work with the N and A...
No rush, feel free to do this after the weekend. I'll hopefully have more feedback then too. Thanks!
