Hi to you too. My partner and I have found that our eye keeps going to your design. The shapes are nice but the logo doesn't feel like jewelry or metal sculpture. Is there any way to add that feel, through colors, effects? I really like the font for studios and the layout of all the elements. I'm not in love with the font for Letang, but I don't dislike it. Is there a font you could use that is similar but a bit less "boxy" (I'm pretty sure that isn't the technical term!). I really like how this logo is a contained unit without feeling rigid; it's a perfect blend of artsy and professional. Thank you so much.
Hi. Glad you can't take your eyes off it. That's kind of the idea.
I'm purposefully trying to oppose the traditional art studio/design shop look as far as design, I like the way this works with your name.
I will bring back that first type style later on in the contest. It's just too early right now. Also, I will bring in some color but I just kind of want to focus on one color for right now. I'm picking black because my design looks so good in it, like if you ran it through a laser printer or made a big sidewalk stencil.... your other ranked designs... I don't know how good they will work in just one color :)
Thanks and I agree with you on all points- I have been concerned with how the other designs would translate in less color. A designer friend of mine said if it is a good design it will look great color or black and white. I look forward to seeing more later in the contest. If I had of know how this process worked I certainly would have made the contest shorter!
Sorry for removing those. I made an update to the letterform with the T and the A and figured the other two were obsolete. The one with the perspective was just an experiment. I'll re upload it for you.
