#89, 90 and 91 - I like your powerfully striding figure (and flag), vs. some of the the running or more abstract ones. Please explain graphically, however, why the designer choice (yours and others) appears to be to depict any 'movement' in their creatives as moving from right to left when americans read and look at a page from left to right? And reason you wouldn't have the figure striding off after the text (on the right side vs. the left side)? We really like this one. Enlighten us on your placement and your arguments for which one of the 3 you think are the strongest. Thanks!
Hi Moorem, Thank you so much for your feedback, This is a very very good question you ask me.
First my concept is the a man figure are like paper, paper are use in every job. The figure holding a USA flag with "right hand" and the "right hand" act like flag pole.
The reason I put the man figure at left and facing left is if I flip the figure the USA flag isn't in right position. And the figure movement is from right to the left side because the man figure like "drag" the LET'S MOVE JOB CORPS from the right to the left and if people stand still and the logo move form right to the left, Its in right position to read.
The strongest is #90 like your choice rank 1 the other is variation form the man holding the USA flag. Because the figure has ground to step that is LET'S MOVE JOB CORPS that he trust and believe.
I hope my explanation not confusing you. I'm really-really sorry for my very bad english.
Great. Thanks for the explanation. We appreciate it and did realize the flag wouldn't have worked any other way. As for #90 - that is our top pic of them especially with the undercurve thing - you don't know it, but a goal for a conference this year will be for all the Job corps student to walk 10mi/month which (with all the JC students combined) = a number that is 4x the circumferene of the world. So they are to collaboratively "circle the globe 4x" with their individual walking goals and your under curve is almost globe-like. Could it be curved a bit more, made a little longer to give it more of a top of globe feel?
