I really like #1 but can you possibly try something a little different on the LEC part. It looks a bit to much like a bank logo rather than a rustic equipment company logo.

I really like the font of #1 for the wording, I like the more modern look of LEC in the #23, I am still not sure how easy it would monogram. I am looking for an all encompassing logo design. For print and web I think it is good. Instead of the LEC being encased what about them standing alone?
