Comment Activity Angus commented on #313 Here's a version with a brighter red on all the lines and clean white on all the other bits! 4 years ago lejonaldenbrown commented on #302 Withdrawn The Gourmet Food and Austin, TX could be slightly brighter or bolder as well. 4 years ago lejonaldenbrown commented on #302 Withdrawn I like this one but the red needs to be slightly brighter so it isn't so hard to see. Please also try the white lettering with red shadow that I sent on private message. We are very close! 4 years ago Angus commented on #288 Withdrawn Hey there, Great news, and thanks for a great contest!! No problem at all, let me work up a few font options for you and upload. Unfortunately, I won't be able to send you my email until the contest is finished, site rules I'm afraid, and I will get banned. Are you able to send links?? Cheers Angus 4 years ago lejonaldenbrown commented on #288 Withdrawn Do you have an email address where I can send an example of the letters I am referring to? 4 years ago lejonaldenbrown commented on #288 Withdrawn Angus, I have selected you as the finalist. We just now need to settle on the final design. I think I want to go back to regular capital block letters. As a matter of fact, I really like red letters with a faded look if that makes sense 4 years ago Angus commented on #290 Withdrawn Same font as #288 but altering the "L". 4 years ago Angus commented on #289 Withdrawn Same font as #288 but altering the "L". 4 years ago Angus commented on #288 Withdrawn A different font! 4 years ago Angus commented on #287 Withdrawn And here's a version where I've just customised the existing font to remove that flick on the "L". I think it definitely helps and makes it a clearer difference between the L and J. 4 years ago Angus commented on #265 Withdrawn Ok great thanks, working on them now! 4 years ago lejonaldenbrown commented on #265 Withdrawn Yes, the base of the L is fine and I love the way the base of the J breaks through the red line. 4 years ago Angus commented on #265 Withdrawn Hi there! I can indeed no problem - are you ok with the base of the L coming across but where the vertical stem doesn’t have anything coming off it like this current one? Cheers Angus 4 years ago lejonaldenbrown commented on #265 Withdrawn Angus, can you find a cursive font where the L is more traditional cursive capital L. This is a little confusing to the eye and looks similar to the J. 4 years ago Angus commented on #267 Withdrawn Hey there! As per the other, but using a script font V3. Cheers Angus 4 years ago Angus commented on #265 Withdrawn Hey there! As per the other, but using a script font V2. Cheers Angus 4 years ago Angus commented on #264 Withdrawn Hey there! As per the other, but using a script font V1. Cheers Angus 4 years ago Angus commented on #266 Withdrawn Hi there! And here is one version - cleaner outer line (but still keeping the character) and bringing back the cleaver. Cheers Angus 4 years ago Angus commented on #262 Withdrawn No problem at all, I also like the cleaver more. And yes, know what you mean and will work up those changes. Cheers Angus 4 years ago lejonaldenbrown commented on #262 Withdrawn One more note. Can you give me a version with LeJon in cursive with the capital L and capital J? 4 years ago lejonaldenbrown commented on #262 Withdrawn I really like this one but I think I like the cleaver better. Also, is there any way to make the swish a little less wavy or broken if that makes sense? Almost if you drew it in one stroke. 4 years ago Angus commented on #260 Withdrawn We can of course for simplicity just add a solid white outline, but then it wouldn't have the textured look and feel of the original shape. 4 years ago Angus commented on #262 Withdrawn Using #255. Black on black and giving it an outer red line. 4 years ago Angus commented on #261 Withdrawn Using #255. Black on black and giving it an outer white line. 4 years ago Angus commented on #260 Withdrawn Using #255. Removing the background. 4 years ago Angus commented on #259 Withdrawn Using #255. Red version on black. 4 years ago Angus commented on #257 Withdrawn Using #255. White version on black. 4 years ago Angus commented on #258 Withdrawn Using #255. Darker grey version on black. 4 years ago Angus commented on #256 Withdrawn Using #255. Grey version on black. 4 years ago Angus commented on #255 Withdrawn Hi there, Another version - this time spacing the lines out a bit and intersecting the knife and fork with the line. Cheers Angus 4 years ago Angus commented on #254 Withdrawn Hi there, Here is one version with a crossed knife and fork. Cheers Angus 4 years ago Angus commented on #113 Withdrawn Hi there! Would be my pleasure, no problem at all. What I'll do is try a few versions where I make the background behind the logo black so we can see what works and what doesn't. Will work those up now for you. Cheers Angus 4 years ago lejonaldenbrown commented on #113 Withdrawn Thanks Angus. Can you please give me a few other versions just to look at: 1) change the butcher knife to a crossed knife and fork 2) I absolutely love the swoosh badge. However, my truck will be wrapped in black so it won't be visible. Is there a way to keep the swoosh and the black color but make it visible on a black background? 4 years ago Angus commented on #242 Withdrawn Hi LeJon, Same as the previous one - using this font BUT changing the top wording to "Gourmet Food" and also "Est. 2020". And then making the red lines longer. Cheers Angus 4 years ago Angus commented on #241 Withdrawn Hi LeJon, Just doing an update using this font BUT changing the top wording to "Gourmet Food" and also "Est. 2020". Cheers Angus 4 years ago Angus commented on #116 Withdrawn And here's one with uppercase L and J and with "Gourmet Food" and Est. 2020. Do let me know if there any other changes you'd like, would love to get back to 1st. Cheers Angus 4 years ago Angus commented on #113 Withdrawn And here's one in all uppercase, but with "Gourmet Food"! 4 years ago Angus commented on #74 Withdrawn Thanks for the kind words, really appreciated! No problem at all will work up those changes. 4 years ago lejonaldenbrown commented on #74 Withdrawn I really like this alot too! Can you change the Estd. to EST. and also change the QUALITY FOOD to GOURMET FOOD and then try LeJon with the L and the J capitalized? Thanks so much! I like yours the most so far. 4 years ago Angus commented on #68 Withdrawn Would be my pleasure! Any preferred fonts you’d like me to try that with? Or shall I just select a few? Cheers Angus 4 years ago lejonaldenbrown commented on #68 Withdrawn Great job! Can you please try a few with with LeJon 4 years ago Angus commented on #74 Withdrawn I found a few fonts that are similar to #37 but that are lowercase! 4 years ago Angus commented on #70 Withdrawn PS let me know if you'd like to see any other specific styled fonts. 4 years ago Angus commented on #71 Withdrawn Different lowercase font. 4 years ago Angus commented on #69 Withdrawn Different lowercase font. 4 years ago Angus commented on #68 Withdrawn Different lowercase font. 4 years ago Angus commented on #67 Withdrawn Different lowercase font. 4 years ago Angus commented on #66 Withdrawn Different lowercase font. 4 years ago Angus commented on #70 Withdrawn Hi there, Thanks again the for the feedback. Hopefully, you saw my other message with regards to this font only coming in uppercase? But have changed the top curved text. Cheers Angus 4 years ago Angus commented on #37 Withdrawn No problem at all, will change that top text as well. 4 years ago Angus commented on #37 Withdrawn Hi there, Thanks for the feedback, and glad you like it. Would be my pleasure, however, this font, in particular, is only all caps. But I can experiment with a few different ones? Cheers Angus 4 years ago lejonaldenbrown commented on #37 Withdrawn Also change the top Austin, TX to Upscale Food or Quality Food 4 years ago lejonaldenbrown commented on #37 Withdrawn Like this. Can you please try the same with lower case for lejon? 4 years ago Angus commented on #35 Withdrawn Hi LeJon, Welcome to Logotournament - I hope this finds you well and having a good week so far? Here are some of my concepts. I've created concepts that are simple, yet striking and unique! The logos are 100% vector so will scale well to any size, and works well in full colour, B&W and on coloured backgrounds if needed. It would be my pleasure to work up any variations so please do say. I look forward to your comments or thoughts. Regards, Angus 4 years ago
