Here is one of my concepts. I've gone for something that's fairly clean and simple, yet striking. Creating an icon that works well within the logo or as a stand alone element, one that can be used for things like favicons or watermarks.
The logo is 100% vector so will scale well to any size, and works well in full colour, B&W and on coloured backgrounds if needed,

Thanks for your submission. The logo is somewhat more "cartoony" than I think we are looking for. If you had another idea, we would love to see it. Thank you for the explanation in your email, though, I appreciate the fact that you took different color schemes and scale into account in your design.
