I think your previous entries with the pick were stronger. We asked for a badge style logo, so the pick does work in that regard. I think keeping the logo and art within the pick shape ( or at least the majority of it ) helps with the overall design. If you google "guitar pick logo", eventually you'll see a design that is a stratocaster guitar headstock that's a bit distressed. It's a strong visual. Try playing around with that idea if you can. Don't worry about squeezing the "well played" and "est 2016" in there. I'd like to see the focus on creative presentation of a guitar headstock idea with a strong font. I tend not to be attracted to font that has too much going on with it. Hope this helps. I appreciate your effort.
The pick as a background shape is definitely the best visually out of all the designs you have presented. I would lose all detail from the guitar headstock as it's distracting. I think it's a little too big and doesn't balance visually at the moment. Maybe play with the headstock shape itself as the background shape within the pick? A google search of guitar pick logo yields a few examples. The Les Paul headstock has a bit more of a curve to it. This looks like an acoustic guitar headstock.
I will review all of your feedback, and publish my new guitar again. it is because in your brief say's "ROCK", metallica. so thats why i pick that head type.
There are a few things that I like about this. The balance of the logo is good. It features the name of the store well. The shape of the headstock is synonymous with a metal guitar. Even more specifically, Dimebag from Pantera. As much as I love Pantera, I'd love to see it with a Les Paul headstock. Plays better to the overall guitar community.
The reasons I wouldn't pick it ( pun intended ) is because the guitar pick is used a lot in logos. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but an easy creative go to. I'm on the fence about the Est. 2016 and the Well Played part. It balances well visually, but I'm not sure that it's too much.
Pretty dynamic, but the choice of guitar caters to a certain kind of musician. Nashville has a very diverse group of musicians. A more iconic guitar like a Les Paul or Stratocaster would be a more universal choice
