Nice treatment, thank you. Of the two, I prefer entry #1, as it conveys the idea of the rocket across a planet. Color choice is excellent. If I were to suggest a direction to head, it would be to move in the direction of the rocket being a bit less retro, more modern spaceship (think Virgin Galactic White Knight type space sexiness), coupled with Lead at the Edge being "edgier". We are looking to convey, risk, edge, youth, unconvention, so the retro look is a bit contrary to that (although I did point folks in this direction)
Like this last one (ranked it #1) The spaceship from the side captures the sexiness, but I expect we would run afoul of copywrite (as it is Virgin Galactic) and we want something more generic(while still exciting and sexy).
I'm uploading some additional material; I found a stylized rocket that would be a very good fit, as it is both stylized, retro and current all at the same time. Adding this, + possibly a couple of other "edgy" font ideas might be a direction to go.
