Scott, appreciate the input and direction and will work on trying to create more of the authentic space look on the rise issue. I think you to achieve this i will need to thin out considerable thet curve part. I have been considering that but was worried about what it would do in regard to the cohesiveness of the A. But i think maybe if i shift the reflection part more to the center of the curve it might help. (The thinness of the curve also allows more of the contrast and less of a hard line.Since, as discussed earlier, i can't get a closeup vision of what the word document contained, i will go ahead and pull some other shots from google or nasa for reference and try to tighten the reality instead of going full blast for keeping the quality/consistency of the A. I had started heading that direction by including a thin white line at the edge and trying to feather the opposite side of the swoop/earthline on the A, and in a couple adding some of the orange, but I kept the sun spot a little larger as well because of the width of the swoop. But, let me play a little more with the thinness as well. I was also a bit hesitant because originally when talking about the type of logo you wanted you had said you had liked the quality of 30 or 31, but worried it didn't have enough of an "edge" to it. (Like the subtle power of 30. Very classy. Probably not edgy enough.) I guess i may have interpreted that as not being clean/hard enough, but i may have totally misinterpreted.
Since the stars were in also reference already with the photos and direction already supplied, i . I can do that as well, (but need you not to refer to specific designers work or who it's between--not really allowed).
I would also ask how you will be using this logo? I assume it will always be on a black back, but in regard to shape/size/space, will it always take up the same kind of size/dimension/proportion as we are looking at here in it's usage, or should i try to keep the number of stars to a couple and keep it fairly close to the type.
Again, thanks for the feedback. Appreciate you working with me. I just checked in this morning to see where this presently stood. I will probably not be able to get any new entries until this afternoon at earliest because of time issues with another project, but don't give up on me. :)
