Hi, I uploaded requested revisions with the different font sizes and thickens of the outline in the icon. In this entry I also used partial fill of the silhouette. Please let me know if you want to farther tweak fonts or silhouette in any direction.
Hi, sculptor! I like the height of the name in this one and how condensed it is. The font itself is a bit thin. And I would love to see photography the same gold color and the same length as the name. Thank you for working with me on this.
Hi, sculptor, would it be possible to see this with a bigger bolder font, not too thick, not too thin, and 'photography' same color (gradient gold) the same length as the name? Also, do you think if we make the lines on a silhouette a bit thicker, will it look good? The reason is because if the logo is shown in small version, the icon isn't standing out. And if I'm doing hot foil on logo, it might get too thin for it. Thank you tons in advance!
My idea here was to break up with the central symmetry of ZZ which kind of terrorizes or dominates all logo. Having two Zs different looks much better to me.
Sculptor, I like the other color choices better. I didn't know it's going to be this hard... so many ideas, so many options. Thank you for your work! I like it!
Sculptor, the more I look at this logo, the more it draws me in. Love the lines, and good color choices for silhouette and name. But those ZZs are just not connecting with me... I'm having a hard time with those apparently. Should we go back to zigzags?!
I like all the fonts, but those ZZ even though it's flowing nicely into the right line. Is it possible to keep the rest of the fonts and switch those two to ZZ that have a shape of 33 (not number 3 exactly, but the writing of the letter Z). Thank you for your flexibility.
You may believe it or not but I still think of this. Double "Z" is thought provoking. It's usually very good to have so distinct letter combinations so I tried to use it in two logos. #39 was supposed to be as simple as it gets. If you don't like this direction I can still keep on trying with silhouette.
I have thousands of fonts on computer but none seems to me more convincing than the one I already used.
I keep thinking about Zazzle when I see this :) I'd like to hear your thought on not using the silhouette here. Thank you for working with me, Sculptor!
Sculptor, hope the weather got much better at your location. We have a storm coming towards FL.
I saw you used the same font here as the last one. I like last interpretation better, but not too fond of the font. I mentioned in previous message which fonts I like if that helps you. Thank you for working with me on this!
I'd say modern would be more to my clients' liking, even though my creative side wants to add more things to it. Sorry I'm giving you a "block", not my intention. I know one thing for sure, I like your interpretation of the silhouette.
When I analyze my feelings about this project it looks like I'm torn between modern, simplistic looks and more straightforward approach (illustration) which will be self explanatory. That's why I have kind of "designer block". Usually the more recognizable brand the simpler logo it gets (like Gucci).
You know your clients best so it's totally up to you to choose the right way to go.
Imagine a font between Asprey and Shiseido, or a more straight like Armani, Gucci or Dolce. It could be something completely unique too, like ZZs look like gold silky ribbons (I don't know, just throwing some ideas around). Thank you for working on this!
I was searching wide for the right font which wouldn't bring to mind dancing school. For now I have this. I will search more - maybe for something more simplistic without drawing.
I see your point. I like the idea of the light from above as it would actually make sense and the line at the bottom will look like a spotlight. Like it!!!!!
If the light was coming from the right certainly it would be the case. But the way I imagined this was light coming from above and couple standing in the center of the scene. Of course if you prefer I can shift the light to the right or left.
I'm sure you will get many different concepts during the run of the contest. I got attracted to the couple from your photograph as they looked really swell and my second profession is sculpture.
BTW, the silhouette is taken from my photo from like 8 years ago, and this is how couples recognize me now, by that silhouette. And the old logo was created by me (not a graphic designer!) long ago. Now need more upscale professional look. Open to all suggestions.
One tinee-tiny thing I noticed as a photographer: in a silhouette, if the light is coming from the couple's right, it wouldn't hit both collar bones of a girl, it would just hit the right side of it. It's just something we as photographers notice though. Glad storm is over. Nature hasn't been good this year to anyone, sadly.
Thank you for your feedback. We have terrible winds here in Europe tonight. There are multiple power disruptions. I haven't seen anything like this for a long time. My PC got restarted three times in the last hour so I will prepare revisions tomorrow morning.
I like the silhouette and the lines, just not too fond of the font. Maybe a font with a different kind of ZZ, not zigzaggy. This font makes me think like I might sell something for teenagers (Zazzle, etc.). Thank you for working on this!
Oh, I love a different version of the silhouette, but it being bigger than the name, wouldn't it confuse clients that might think I'm a dance studio or dance photographer?! Let's play around with the font: something modern, and letter ZZ not zigzaggy (preferably), but the other kind ZZ like in my old logo. Thank you so much for working on this!
