That sounds helpful. We don't have much experience with this ,but can likely get help. It sounds like we will be able to change colors on our own at some point but If you are able to provide the single color version along with the full color one now, can you please make it in white? Thanks a bunch! 5 years ago sculptor commented on #34 There is no problem at all in adding white background to the outer circle but it will be visible only in the final files. By the way we are obliged to provide also vector final files and they are fully editable so owner can manipulate objects and colors in every possible way without loosnig any of the quality. 5 years ago laxfrica commented on #34 Sorry for any confusion. Yes, we would like the color between the circles to have a white background and the center circle and outside the logo background with no color. We do plan to sometimes print it on non-white backgrounds in both full color and one color (white or yellow print). When printed in a full color version, we'd like to have the white ring with full colored font inside. When in a single color version, I guess it would need to not have the white background in either circle so that the font would be visible in white or yellow 5 years ago sculptor commented on #34 I'm not sure what you mean. Currently I'm using two empty, concentric circles with brown outlines. Background is white so if the circles were white it wouldn't be visible anyway. This only would matter if you put logo on some non white background. If you prefere I can add white bg in the space between circles (where the text is). In one color version this could make text more visible (depending on background). 5 years ago laxfrica commented on #34 Thank you! The outer circle still has a white background though, correct? We do want to keep that. -For the single color version, I guess the color would need to be removed from the outer circle as well, or remove the circles completely to make it work so that the font would be visible? 5 years ago sculptor commented on #34 I've removed all color from the background. 5 years ago laxfrica commented on #32 Yes, thank you. That looks great! Can you please remove all color (if not done) from the center of the circle so no color would be printed there? Also, please see message with other questions/request. Thank you! 5 years ago sculptor commented on #32 Please check if this is what you mean. 5 years ago laxfrica commented on #31 Hello, There are many things we like about this logo. Can you please try: -take out the flags and all color from the middle of the circle -change the font of LAXFRICA to have the american flag inside the letters for LAX (stars and stripes only in the L and A, stripes in the X) and the stripes of the Uganda flag colors in side the letters for FRICA -a bit more change to the eye of the eagle, make it more round, less long (I understand this will look less accurate to an eagle), still looking for a bit more friendly feel -add a touch more of a "smile" to the eagle This is an organization involving kids teaching kids Thanks for assistance with this. 5 years ago sculptor commented on #30 The biggest challenge with this logo is that it's supposed to have two birds, two sticks and two flags. Usually this isn't any good for composition. That's why I personally favor #20. 5 years ago sculptor commented on #29 Thanks again for the feedback. Though I didn't find the previous version of the eagle ovelry aggressive (at least for an eagle) I've made an even kinder version. Please take a look at the face and let me know if this is enough. 5 years ago laxfrica commented on #19 Thank you. I love the added color on the crane and the blue background. I actually like the birds facing each other and holding the sticks. The eagle is just a fierce bird. I was wondering if there is a way to make him look happier (ex. the Hokie bird (a turkey) mascot from Virginia Tech. It may not work, but I'd love to compare the difference. 5 years ago sculptor commented on #19 Thanks for your feedback. I redrew both birds to make them more appealing for kids. Though I didn't find the previous version very competitive - this time I put birds not facing each other. 5 years ago laxfrica commented on #3 Great work. You got most of the concepts that I am looking for. Can you please switch the sides of the flags to put the USA flag on the left and the Uganda flag on the right? Also if possible to make the birds look a little friendlier and less competetive? We are a volunteer group bringing donated equipment and teaching the game of lacrosse to kids in Uganda. I have also attached some photos of the Crane to show it's coloring ( a little more color on the wings and more grey body). That might help it stand out against the white background also. Thank you! 5 years ago
