I like #14. Interesting graphic, like the colors and the text font. A few requests;

1. Could you reduce text size slightly and bring 'farm' letters in close to match other text?

2. Wondering if you could try enlarging the graphics or accentuating the colors in the graphic. Like to have lots of color.

Thanks for your designs.

#25 looks fantastic. I like how you've enlarged the graphic. A few revisions I would be interested to see;

1. Can you change color of the sun and the orange horizontal line to yellow?
2. Add the word 'egg' so it reads "Law's Horizon Egg Farm". Reduce size of business name text slightly.
3. What color is the text? Can't quite tell on my monitor.

Thanks,

Wanted to add; with the added word in the business name, please size the text as you see fit, whatever looks proportional.

can do this tomorrow

hope you like the changes. Text is the darkest blue from the gradient... this can also translate well to a 1 color version for printing on pens or mugs! (that is my primary business)

These changes look great. A few comments;

- Considering changing the business name to 'Law's Eggs'. How would the text look with this change?
- With the name change there would be more room to enlarge the two lines that box the name. Can you enlarge these and fill them with the color you used on the sun in the previous version (reddish orange)?

Thanks for your revisions, I appreciate it.

hope this is how you want but just ask and I can do more versions.

note if this is what you want for your basic logo... then once the contest is ended you will receive other variations and formats for different uses. Just so you know.

Thanks for the info. I like that revision. Not 100% sure on the naming yet, will refine that soon. Could you do these revisions;

- My farm is on a lake so would like to graphically represent that. Perhaps something beneath the hills. Like to see what you come up with.

- How would text color look with transitioning colors like you have in the hills but representing colors you already use in image. Would this work for reproductions on marketing materials?

- Can you adjust text to show a more typical 'W', one where the parts of the letter don't cross?

Thanks once again for all these creative revisions and insights.

You will need to have versions with or without and gradients (transitioning) but you can use gradients when printing in full color or digital print ... but not on other things where they don't allow gradients or it is difficult to get them to look good... for example on a ceramic mug most options only allow for spot color... plus it gets pricey when many colors printed. on a pen there are some that have full color but most not. and you might want it etched on something also or embroidered.

I will do a version with an interpretation of a lake.

Hi Carol:

Thanks for the info on coloring/printing etc. Now that we're in the judging phase, I understand I can have my top rank designer make final revisions. See my comments below;

- The lake in #77 is not quite what I was envisioning. Of all versions #72 is my preference.
- I realize there may be limitations with this being two dimensional and all but do you think you might be able to represent a body of water (river, lake etc.) by modifying the red lines beside the name?
- The name in #72 is what I'm staying with. Can you change the text slightly to have a different 'W', perhaps something like the text you used in your logo titled; 'The Oaks at Springville'?

Eager to see your ideas.

I wish you could look over my shoulder and do this with me to get it exactly how you envision it! I will work on this today.

Hi Carol:

That new text looks great. I've decided the following;

- I want #79 without the water, just looks cleaner without it.

Upon awarding you the prize will you provide the following;
- file formats to allow color and single color reproduction on white, transpartent and dark backgrounds?
- file formats with high resolution for color reproduction for large signage?

Thanks,

Aaron

I did that and happy to revise if you need. After LT files are approved I will send you several variations... including the ones you requested in jpg, gif, png, pdf and standard ai / eps vector files and also a 1 color version and a color version without gradients for different applications...

As my primary business is printing on merchandise for promotion I will be sure you have formats good for printing, silkscreen, etching, embroidery and other uses. And would love to work with you to help promote your new look!

Hi Carol:

I was out tonight and saw a logo with colors very similar to your designs. It had orange text and it looked great. Could you try the text color on #79 with say, a bright sunrise type orange? Thanks.

IF there is a particular orange PMS color you want then we can adjust that too:

Can you try all text in pantone colors 172 and 224?

sure - 224 is a pink color surprised me...
or do you want it part in one and part in the other color?

Client
Try all text all one color in 172, then all text all one color in 224.

Thanks,

Ok, those colors are out. Here are my final revisions of what I want;

1. I would like #72 with all colors as shown (including red horizontal lines by text)
2. Change name to how it's shown in #28
3. Use font for all text as it's shown in #81

I will reward this contest to you when I see this revision.

Thanks for your patience.

sorry to be delayed... busy day.

I think this is what you requested... it is kind of late and I wanted to get this done asap for you.

Let me know if I missed anything.

Happy to provide multiple versions after the final files are uploaded and approved.

#85 looks great. Can you reduce the company name text size slightly as shown in #28? I like the size proportion between graphic and text in #28.

Thanks,

sorry I did take the top from one and the bottom from the other... but forgot that I might have sized them differently ... will try to fix that.

Ah figured it out the width of the text in the font is different.

hope this is more what you like.

you really should reinstate some of the ones that were withdrawn to give others points for the top 10. They don't get money but they do get points in the system to help rankings.
