#26 AND #27 backgrounds are only to represent your gold and silver caps How large are the caps...thinking about detail not being able to silkscreen well on small caps and lose clarity. That is why I have been submitting simpler versions of your attachments...
I will adjust the designs and continue to submit throughout your contest. Thank you Sincerely Tere
hi! thank you for your beautiful work and questions. the jars are currently stand alone. i will upload pictures of my containers now. in the future i will be using boxes and i like the idea of something on the caps. on the inside now i put a sticker stating applying this may cause bliss but with my tag line pure natural bliss i am not doing the extra step insdie cap. you can look at my website too. www.lauriehermann.com
regarding your note on 26 & 27. the labels will wrap around the bottle and jars. the smallest is 2x3" approximate print size for 2oz bottle. i love love the perrier jouet ad campaigns and the brands i uploaded.
i like your 31 one the best. however, it is very femine i do have male clients and this won't fit on a bottle of shaving oil. can you make it slightly more masculine? put laurie hermann's in black font? the vines and flowers are not my favorite. i spent time uploading vines and peonies i want to see on my brand if you can look at these, might help. i do like 24. how about laurie hermann's in a more modern font? can you add some vines? on leftside?
Sure I will do that for you and hope to this tonight...I will be out most of the morning and half the afternoon but will continue with your notes. Have a great weekend. Thank you, Tere
it has been a very long day....fortunately you still have over a day in the first phase of your contest...tomorrow afternoon I will work on more entries based on your requests when I return.
54 is the best so far. i wonder about the vines/flowers being more in a large circle (open at top) as i am planning on putting name of product above my name and scent below
#61 #63 are rounder formats for you. I purposely haven't added many lines to the vines since I think you name will get lost in them in such a small space on a you jar.. You can always use more sprawling vines as Perrier in your own ad campaign or boxes.
I'm trying to make sure that the proportions will work for your jars on a side label. Although silver or gold foils would be a great highlight on your name or flowers....to use the natural look label for marketing with natural inks when printing will be a plus. A natural bright white background will show of the details and make it more visible on the store shelf and if just on the internet metallics won't matter since your jar cap will most likely be photographed at a side view. Just some thoughts.
thank you for all of your thoughts. i am liking 61. on the vine on the left the top bud almost looks like it could be a seed! i had uploaded a jpeg of a seed/vine. i had hoped someone would include this in their design. i wonder if you could place the bulb/seed underneath my name/bottom and as it climbs up around the leftside could turn into some leafs/flower.
the new ones are not as interesting to me. i like have the vines green - on some i would even like the flower to have a hint of color. maybe when i am using lavender there is a touch of purple on the flower or citrus a little vibrant orange?
looks good. i would like to still keep vines on right and possibly more up left side? i will be putting ingredients verticaly up the far right side so i believe it will be balanced.
I have a very full week and will only be able to work a little in the evenings now. There should be enough time tonight.
I know you know that the illustrations of this type can be time consuming with revisions and making sure the lines are clean and in balance etc. Your contest has not been ordered for an illustration that requires a lot of time.
I will check back this evening and do what I am able for you Thank you! Kind Regards Tere
Here is the revision with more vines, flowers, leaves I don't want to add too many lines which may visually take away from your name on a small format.
this is very nice i am looking for a few more long curly vines on the left like the per.jpg i've uploaded. i also uploaded floral background. i do not believe this is enough yet? it is pretty, natural i did want to appeal to all walks of life and if it could be hip and sexy that would be great. i feel like the floral background is a little misterious?? can you superimpose an image?? i do love the colors of the floral background image too
We are not allowed to do backgrounds on our designs...it is also a separate design element that could be ordered after the contest is over with the selection.
Is there any way you could add an attachment sketch of what you are wanting to see? It is hard to add a little at a time and then possibly still not getting the image correct.
I added more vines on the left and showing you 2 color change outs.
Can I ask you....after looking at your per.pdf....have you had these labels printed yet? I'm not sure I am understanding how this is printed? the background seems to eat up your name. Also except on larger jars, bottles and added packaging if the design doesn't stay simple you will be disappointed in the printing outcome. You can always order more vines, flowers etc to larger packaging later....Just a professional experience opinion
I like where your headed please look at per.jpeg I really am trying to get this effect can you try to make your vines and flowers like that I like the idea of having it look like a seed at the bottom of the logo and turnig in to a flower at the top of the logo I really appreciate all of your hard work I would really like to work with you
WOW! 102 is cool. can you stretch the flower to be way up in the top left corner?? also wondernig about the bud you have under my name. should we make this brown so it looks like a seed?
Thank you...I think I finally figured out that the scroll is one continuous line as opposed to being broken in sections... whew! The position of the flower if I do that will it be in proportion to your jars? and how far up? personally I think introducing a brown since it is so simple will create a focal point that you don't want. But I will try.
i have asked friends to help me make my decision and i have the ratings reflecting such. i am asking the top 3 designers to give one last design of a simple curly lime/green vine with my name. this is such an important part of my branding. thank you for everything
not sure if you are asking for a separate design other than your logo but if this is a second design admin will require you to open another contest for that or you may hire the designer you choose to do a separate design.
