Right. We will use the logo in many ways, but yes, it has to also work on the spine.

I can add more detail if you want, but all of that will get lost and muddled when printed small on a spine.

I like this one, but it's not getting a lot of love from the other voters. We might wish to use something like this for a Children's Book imprint down the road.

Hi, can you do something with that leaf-looking quill pen? I'd like to try to get some of the other reviewers to like this one a bit more.

I'm wondering if the quill pen could look a bit more like a feather and a bit less like a leaf?

Thanks, I'll add this to the bottom of ranked submissions, and we'll see it reviewed in the next set of logo ideas we're reviewing internally. One idea is to possibly have the point of the ship be a quill pen - perhaps a red one. And maybe the water is Blue - so we have Red/White/Blue in the logo?

I think black is stronger, but I could see instances where you might want to use red.

Any chance you can introduce the red color in one element here (but not the entire building?)

I uploaded a design in solid black, and another in solid white on a dark background.

A bit too much red. I'm wondering if you can figure out a way to put some red, one of the words, or some elements, without the whole building being red?

Ah. thats a bummer. I really liked this design.
I'll see if I can come up with a new direction.

Thanks :) - Note that one of our commenters stated that he didn't like this because Churchill hated the French, and it evokes the French revolution too much. Unfortunately it's now demoted to 4th ranked. Not sure what could be done to improve on it...

I like this, but it evokes communism more than "right of center". Perhaps try a blue flag with a white star?
