modern look, and easy to remember without the name, logo can use stand alone without name. can use on t-shirt , cap, bilboard, and business card etc. so i make branding logo imagine the future technology
side note: you have mixed 3D and flat design principles together in a way that is difficult/confusing. I do like the transition "stripe" that you use between the orange and blue but it reminds me too much of the google play logo. at least the one from a week ago lol
launch broadband and launch labs are currently 2 very different entities. my current avatar on this website (while extremely good IMO) is not representative of what I want for my logo (a new contest for my company is coming soon). that being said I would like to refrain from gathering inspiration from my avatar.

I think the problem with giving the top part an increased point at its tip makes it look more like fire, which isn't a problem in this color but I think we prefer the orange/red submissions
