Thank you for your feedback and also for the ranking.
I just made the changes you requested so let me know what you think. I hope I understood correctly what you wanted to see. I'll look forward to your feedback.
Thankyou so much for all of your submissions up to this point. Earlier today, we as a team came together to make some final decisions towards which 4 designers we would like to work with in the next stage to produce the best possible logo for our organization. We have decided to move forward with this #219 and #146 base design as one of the 4. We also came to a consensus on what we would like to see in the final design and future iterations of your specific work.
What we want you to keep:
- Colors pallet and base design
- Crossed lines separating LiA logo and "LATINOS IN ARCHITECTURE" type
What we would like to see different:
- A clearer and simple addition of the "i" in 'LiA'
- A purposeful lower hierarchy of where this "i" is to be placed
Again, thankyou very much for your work so far and we are happy to continue working with you.
Thankyou for this submission and implementing our feedback into the design! Your additions do not take away from your original design and incorporate exactly what we are looking for. We will continue to post comments as they come to mind until the end of the blind phase.
First of all, thank you so much for your feedback, I really appreciate it. Also thank you for taking the time to take a look at my portfolio, it means a lot.
I just submitted new entries where I used triangles as a touch of the Latino culture. For the moment I'll consider this my first step into using aspects of Latino culture in my designs (it's kinda late in here) and I'll come back tomorrow, hopefully, I'll get some feedback till then, and will see what brings up the new day.
First, Thank you for the submission! If you are getting feedback then we already really like the direction that your design is going in.
You managed to incorporate the true abstract nature of architecture perfectly into your design which is very appreciated. We like your simple take on the logo in general and would like you to maintain this idea in coming designs.
The main discretion with this submission would be that there are aspects of latino culture that are not present. This is a main focus that we will be looking for in our final decision. Any addition of this aspect does not need to be super obvious and the more subtle the better with your style. Also, the current color of the type, 'LATINOS IN ARCHITECTURE' appears to be a little more flat than the other colors in the design. A brighter pop of color for the lettering would be great to see.
These same critiques including color go for your #135 submission as well that we are also interested in seeing more renditions of. We have viewed your portfolio and are looking forward to seeing what you can produce.
Thankyou and good luck!
Here are my initial concepts for your consideration.
Let me know if you want to see any updates regarding layout, colors, typography, or anything else. In any case, further suggestions are welcome.
