hi :) My logo features a dairy farmer & son about to milk a cow by hand with the farm in the backdrop. The father & son emphasizes the family-friendly aspect of your farm, as well as sustainability and looking forward to future generations. I thought the fact that they were going to milk by hand (even though you guys obviously have equipment / milking stations) - connects with "old-fashioned / hard-working values. The windmill - though traditional - will make a connection with current generations as being clean / efficient / environmentally 'green" as I think people tend to think of windmills in terms of wind turbines. It's subtle, but I think it's used enough as an example of clean energy that people make that broader connection. The logo could also be made tonally in black & another color if you needed to limit the color palette, but go beyond the single color option.
