No, changing the color of different parts of the logo will not affect the copyrights.

We are going to most likely choose this one. I need to know if I were to choose this one and supposedly change the color of the coil part of the logo back to blue for t shirts would it be a copy right violation? I want grey t shirts with the lakeside metals in blue but I think the chrome looking coil may blend in so id change it to blue for the t shirts if that was last resort.
I love this logo but can you submit more with different style fonts. It looks very professional but I would just like to see what else you can do with it.
