I was having too much fun : ) Did another pose for you and the other is for you to see the mermaid a little better since the size of the entries are so small.
I gave her more golden colors on her hair and skin.
I also cleaned up the blue shapes in the water.
These are still stylized, colors are purposely out of register. But can be precise.
All the variations are
Black lines or white lines?
Gradients in hair and clothes or solids?
Stylized our of register colors or registered color?
Full dress or two piece?
If you prefer one over the other just let me know.
Thanks, love this mermaid and the color variations. Can you use the font from #69 and add here in blue and in black, just to see what works better? Thanks, have a restful night as well.
Here she is with your suggestions the other entry I added gradients. Any o the elements may be interchanged or altered.
I'll check back tomorrow for your comments.
Have a restful evening.
We appreciate your hard work. Actually, we like the first mermaid #5 the best and the arms of #16 and enjoyed seeing the conch. We like the curly hair on the first mermaid too, so maybe combine red and orange for her hair color? Our big problem now is the font. After searching google, try casual or formal script for "lady of the sea", keep adventures in a non script font, maybe increase size of font for "Lady and Sea" and decrease "of and the" to create visual dominance of name. Also, try "lady of the sea" in black and "adventures" in her hair color? We will keep your #5 logo in third position right now and wait for your revisions. thanks
I didn't add her arm in the back because at the same angle is is insignificant and not recognizable with the few lines..so the shoulder shows it is behind her body...that is why I pulled her other arm out holding the conch as another option.
Here are these. I tightened up the lines and color blocks. I need to clean up some lines and anatomy proportions/angles/etc. still but need to see first if I'm going in the right direction.
Do you want a serif, san serif or script font. The are too many but I may be choosing something when you prefer another style.
If you would tell me serif, san serif or script...also traditional or modern as well. And keeping it feminine.
I change the color red in her hair but not to stark crayon red, since it is a dominant color and pulls your eye to her hair. I can go back and add more orange again since it is the complimentary color for blues.
Hi Tere, we don't like the way you are going here with the new logos, the first layout and mermaid are much more creative (even though a bit whimsical, but much better than any of the new logos. Try go back to the first logo and work on the font being more legible and the mermaid a little less frilly, tighten her up a little bit.
Also, the artwork should not dominate/destruct from the name. Stepping back from the logo, the first thing we want to see is "Lady of the Sea", second "Adventures", third the Mermaid.
Hi Tere,
Great start, good color combo for mermaid/water, but we don't like the orange hair and mermaid is a bit too whimsical. Please try different font, a little more readable, especially "Adventures". Thanks.
Hello Kerstin,
I will add others before the end of the blind phase, in different styles. This one is more whimsical.
Your thoughts and input is appreciated,
Thank you!
