Yes, the texture can be a bit too adventurous, the icon being already a labyrinth (adventure).

If you would like to see in a cleaner look, I can easily drop off the texture.

From the survey: Some surveyed commented that, while they liked the logo, the "grunge" (rough) feel of the logo did not fit with the professional audience of the company, and suggested it be in a cleaner look

these are all very nice, I might even pull in one of these to replace the one in the rankings...but I just launched a survey on what is there so do not want to change the rankings yet. Either this one or one of the other white backgrounds with the tag line...

I've made a little change and rotated the "L's" in the symbol #136, in order to make them read better.

One other quick thought - could there be a sample that has the logo to the left of the text, just to see what that looks like.

This symbol is composed by the letters " L L G " designed in such a way to compose a maze (white spaces, enter and exit).
The " L " letters are rotated, holding the " G " in the middle.
