Entry #2 - Could you reverse the color scheme (words and sheep in black, circles in grey)? The font is cool but has an Asian feel which is not really what we are going for. Could you round it out a bit? Also would like to see the word Cafe included in the name, maybe around the top? Thanks!

Hi Fermat-
I am actually an American living in Chile so I'll keep writing in English for now! I like your idea of the maze/looking down on a cup of coffee and incorporating the color light brown. I am still not sure I like any of the fonts. Entry #3 font is my favorite so far but not exactly what I want, maybe something rounder? Could you update #3 with the brown maze and round out the font a bit? Also can you envision a way of showing more explicitly that the maze is also kind of like a cup of coffee, for example adding the handle of the cup or does that ruin the design?
Thanks!!!!!!

hi... sorry about the spanish :)... and thanks for the comment
I'll do the changes right now and I'll send some font variations for you to choose.... as there is not possible to send designs with multiple options I need to send each separately...

hi.. could you send me a PM ? in my profile you have the button... just to talk about the font... thanks

I love #9 and #10! Great idea. Haven't decided if the multiple languages is the way to go or if it's too "busy" for a logo but I love the concept. I would put the Spanish first, then English and then French if we did go with the multiple languages. Also I prefer how in #9 the sheep is next to the post versus in front of it. Also like the changes with the maze, adding the coffee mug handle. What about putting the word "Cafe" in black and maybe in the same font (tbd) as the other words. Just saw your note about a PM so will try to figure out how that works and send you one!

hi... thanks for your comments....
I agree that maybe the version with multiple languages is too much busy.... usually I like the "simple" things, are more elegant

I think that maybe is better to use the #16 and create one logo for each language (I'll do without any problem) and by example you can design your menu with different languages and each page of each language with the right logo.... we can do the same withthe design #17 or #7

I still like the idea of multiple languages but am not sure how to do it without it getting too busy.
I realize now that the sheep actually looks like a short pony! Could you try making it more sheep-like, perhaps by making the legs skinnier, the body fluffier (perhaps more like a cloud for example), and the head smaller.
Thanks!!!!

Like the new sheep but would like to request a few more changes to see how it looks - could you make the behind end a bit shorter (not so far out from the behind legs) and the head a little bit smaller?
For the logo which has the arrows, I actually like the font from #16 best but was also wondering if you could redo the font from #24 but with lower case letters (well first letter of each word uppercase but the rest of the letters lowercase)?
I really still like the maze/coffee cup but feel that it requires explanation for people to understand and then once they understand it, it's cool. Can you think of any other way to make it more explicit??? I cannot think of any ideas but let me know if you can!!! (I like the font from #17 best for this one)

One other request, could you add a handle to the mug in # 24 and all other similar ones with the signs?

Hi there,
Just a few more comments on changes to the sheep. I think the head needs to be looking forward rather than looking down. Also I think the legs need to be a little bit shorter. Thanks so much!

Hi there,
Thanks for the updates. I like the idea of the signs pointing in different directions (#34) and in fact was going to suggest that! I do not really like the question mark because I think it is already implied in the signs (#34). The only thing that still doesn't feel right is the sheep. I think I was wrong about the legs needing to be shorter and something about the head still seems wrong. Perhaps if you make the sheep a bit more "cartoon like" if you know what I mean? Something about it just doesn't feel right but I love everything else!
#30 is cool but loses the coffee cup effect.

Also would like to see in #34 and #27 how it looks with the coffee mug sidewise (the way you originally had it) with the handle.
And also for #27 could you make the spacing between the first and second sign the same as the spacing between the second and third sign?
Thanks!

Sorry one more comment. I changed my mind about what I said about the question mark in #34 and #32. I am undecided if it's better or worse with it so will have to wait and see on that!

And what about in #37, instead of one big question mark, lots of little question marks that look like lines of steam coming up out of the cup?

Thanks for the changes. I like the new sheep (#45) but was wondering if there is a way to make it black and to make the behind part rounder/smaller? Also I still like the original black sheep (#42 & #43) but think it needs minor alterations. Is there anyway to work with the original black sheep but make it a bit more cartoonish, for example poofy cloud like body, skinny legs, small head, etc... (nothing too exagerated but not serious either). I have also decided that I don't want the question mark. I think the crooked signs (#42) and sideways coffee mug show enough chaos and confusion to convey the message of being lost.
What about adding a small patch of grass at the bottom of the sign or under the sheep's feet or both?
Thanks again!

Hi,
I like the coloring effect you added to #51 and #52. I also like the sheep (#50-#53). Do you think it would be too much black to change the head to black too? Also, how would it look as a white sheep with black legs?
Could you add the grass also?
Thanks and hope you are feeling better!

Hi
I updated the sheep making all black, I think that is nice... about the sheep with black legs I think that I already did with the #45... or do you mean something different ?
I added the grass

Feeling better :) thanks

Hi!
Thanks again for all the updates. You are right, you had already done a white sheep on #45 so never mind!
I like the all black sheep in #54-#56 but decided that I do not like the black grass. What is the difference between #55 and #56? Could you show me #54 and #55 without grass and then with brown grass (same color as the sign)? Or what about putting a few blades of grass at the bottom of the sign instead?
Sorry for all the variations but we're getting closer!

One more comment - I just showed my husband the logo (# 54-#56) and he likes it but his first impression was that the white line that separates the head from the body of the sheep was a smile (I didn't see it like this but that was his first view). Would there be a way to tilt the head differently or move the ear a bit so that the white line does not look like it could be a smile? Thanks again!!

hi... I'm preparing all the changes you ask for... also I uploaded another idea about a world globe and the signs starting in Chile... I hope you like too...
about the white line that seems a smile, maybe it is, but I did to separate the head from the body... in the last entry (with the globe) you can see without... I wait your opinion

and don't be worried about all the changes we are doing... it's always a pleasure to work in this way :)

I like the globe idea but do you think it adds too many elements? I completely understand what you did with the sheep head and body to separate and now that you took out the separation it looks strange because of the ear not showing. What about tilting the head back to the other direction, like how you have it in #54 but tilting even more in that direction so the separation of the head/ear and body is even more noticable and maybe like that sheep will look even more confused?
Also I have asked some friends to look and they seem to like the "serious" sheep better. Is there anyway to do a sheep that falls somewhere between the two we have looked at, something a bit less cartoonish but not as serious a a true sheep profile view like #42, something in between?

Thanks for the changes. I like the word cafe in white but would leave the coffee cup in beige. Regarding the globe one, it looks much better now but could you change the view of the earth so that you can see all of South America and so that the post of the sign is hitting the very very bottom tip of South America? Also for the globe one I like it better without the grass (#87).
Also if possible I would like to see one more variation of the sheep. You don't have to show it for all the designs, just #78 for example. Can you tilt the sheep head the other way (like you had it originally) but tilt it enough so that there is a bigger separation between the ear and the body. Do you know what I mean?
And one more request...!! Could you also show #78 with the three signs as follows in this order: "La Oveja" "Perdida" "Tierra del Fuego" (i.e. take out the cafe one on top, move the other two up and put Tierra del Fuego on the bottom sign).
Thank you again so much!

Hi there,
Thanks for the updates. I can't decide between the side facing and forward facing sheep. For the side facing one, could you put it with the head tilting like it is in 20degree variation? And for the forward facing black one, could you tilt the head even more, to show that the sheep is confused.
Also the globe still doesn't look quite right. Now North America is up by the North Pole! Maybe you can make it more like it was in #86 but make all the continents smaller so you can see the bottom of South America and put the post there? Also could you show me what the sign would look like with the three rows as follows:
1) La Oveja
2) Perdida
3) Tierra del Fuego
because for some marketing stuff we may not want to put the cafe part but want to highlight the Tierra del Fuego location.
Thanks!

Regarding the globe, I actually like #87's globe if you can just move the post down so it's at the very bottom and see how that looks. Thanks!

Hi, regarding the signs in #120 (with Tierra del Fuego), could you make them straight instead of crooked and then put them on the globe in #119 (with the little circle coffee mug on the top)? I think that is going to be the perfect combination!!!
Hope you are feeling better again.

Also, regarding #121 and #122, cute idea. What about reversing the sheep colors putting the body black (kind of like the color of the coffee) and the head white (kind of like the cream/milk in the coffee)?
Also, I would like sheep in #119 and #120 to look a little more confused and I think we can achieve this by tilting the head further towards the sign so that the head is more tilted and confused.
Thanks!!!

Hi,
I like #126 but would like to see it with the tilted sheep head from #129 but with the eyes normal like they are in #126. Also would like the signs to be straight rather than crooked but the whole post can be a bit off center like it is in #129. I would like the circle with the mug to be a little big smaller.
For #128, could you change the sheep head to white?
Thank you again!

Ok #133 is almost it. I would just like to see the arrow signs without making the arrow part "fatter" than the other side, like how they were on #32. I know the whole sign will look a little crooked because the post is crooked but I don't want the individual arrows to also look crooked.
The circle with the coffee mug needs to be a little smaller and the mug is a little off center. Can you move it over a little?
Also in number #86 the sheep and the globe are bigger and the sign is smaller whereas in #133 the sign is bigger and the sheep and the globe are smaller. Could you show me the "final" version with the two different options (i.e. big sign, little sheep and globe versus smaller sign with bigger sheep and globe.)
Thanks again for all the updates.

Can you make #138 but with the sizes of #129, meaning the sheep and the globe are a little bigger and the arrows are a little bit smaller? Also can you make the post of the sign so that it doesn't go exactly along the coast line of Chile, meaning you can see a little bit of land on either side of the post? Also maybe the words "Tierra del Fuego" need to be a little bit smaller? Something still doesn't feel completely right about it. Maybe the arrows can project out a little bit like in #139 but not as exagerated (like not completely straight arrows but with a little bit fatter on the arrow side but just subtly). Also I like the brown colored post versus the red one in #138.
Thanks. I know it's late in Europe. Let's continue tomorrow!

hi... new entry... straight signs with small "tierra del fuego"... big globe, big sheep... and the line not following the Chile coast... after I'll upload a new version with just a little different signs that are a little bigger in the pointing part (but not like the previous that we already have)... thanks

here with the changes on the signs that I commented before... also just comment that maybe you can see the post red, but it's brown... it's a optical effect because logotournament reduces the size of the files, but it's brown

I think #142 is the best, the only thing is the eyes, can you make them looking straight? Also can you check that the spacing between the arrow signs is the same?
For #144 can you take out the grass?
I would also like to see #142 and #144 without the globe, i.e. the other design, everything else the same.
Thanks!
