Here is my initial idea for the branding of La Grange: #13. I went with a clean and simple design, so that it would look great at all sizes (from large signage to small business cards).
Let me know your initial thoughts, and we can go from there. Thanks!
Entry #14. I like the style of your design, but not too fond of the barn. Could you try something with an oak tree or evergreen trees in place of the barn? I do like this green better, the same as you.
In keeping with the clean/simple idea, I applied the same theory to my trees. Let me know what you think: #17, #18, #19
I will submit a more touched-up and web2.0 version as well, just so you can compare the two styles. But, I still think simple and straight forward is the best approach for the look and feel of a barn.
Thank you for the quick response. Here is another thought. Could you make La Grange in black and the trees & Ledgestone Barn in green.
One more idea....remove the trees entirely, just use the words only. Then put La Grange on the same line. I like the 2 different styles you used for the words.
WOW, each time you do the changes I ask for, it gets harder and harder to decide which one I like the best. That is a good problem!! I really, really like #30, which you will see I have ranked as #1 right now. Could you take that design and try a couple of things...........change the evergreen trees to one big oak tree.
Then as a second option, change the evergreen trees to a leaf.
Can't wait to see what you do!!
If you have other ideas, go ahead and make them into a design.
Here are some oak tree options for your review: #51, #52, #53
I am glad to see your current 1st place choice, as that is one of my favorites as well (#33/#34). It is clean and simple, yet memorable when you see it.
