Comment Activity cannabis commented on #184 I would like to get your email address as well. Thank you for designing my logo. I would greatly appreciate different variants and colors. 6 years ago cannabis commented on #188 This one looks too stacked. 6 years ago cannabis commented on #187 Thank you! My email address is jcderm@yahoo.com 6 years ago DirtyLips commented on #187 Hi, uploaded 2 variants with company name without slogan. When the contest will over, you can give me your e-mail adress and i will send you there both versions of logo - with and without slogan. Best regards DL 6 years ago cannabis commented on #186 Thank you! 6 years ago DirtyLips commented on #186 Hi, i can try some variants with company name next to bird. Will upload soon. DL 6 years ago cannabis commented on #186 Not sure if I like the half circle. Trying to figure out where to put the name of the company if I don't use slogan. Do you think it might look better next to the bird? 6 years ago cannabis commented on #184 Can I have this logo with just the company name and not the slogan? Thank you! 6 years ago DirtyLips commented on #184 And to your second question about symbol.. I think its nice contrast - serrated leaf and smooth birds body. I can see clearly both there. When was leaf smooth ( #50 ) i didnt see a marijuana leaf there. Only bird at first glance. Regards DL 6 years ago DirtyLips commented on #184 Hi, the name of this font is Montserrat. You can download for free here: https://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/montserrat Its very nice clear font with many typefaces you can use on corporate identity materials (business cards, labels, etc.). 6 years ago cannabis commented on #184 Hello, I would like to put the final touches on the logo. What font does this one have? Should I stick with this font? Also, when we changed the smooth leaf to the serrated one, do you think it cut off the body of the bird too sharply? Thank you! 6 years ago DirtyLips commented on #184 Yes, you have truth, this one looks great :) DL 6 years ago cannabis commented on #183 What if the background was white the logo is red 6 years ago DirtyLips commented on #183 Not bad, but a little bit aggressive i think. 6 years ago DirtyLips commented on #183 And you can see darker red here. DL 6 years ago DirtyLips commented on #182 Hi, i really like this dark purple background. Purple color is different and well matched to marijuana and cosmetics theme. 6 years ago cannabis commented on #180 I totally agree it's important to stand out! What to you think of a red background or letters? 6 years ago DirtyLips commented on #180 Hellou! About your color scheme question.. I think we must stay on concept with dark background and white logo. I like it because feeling is good. Means - white (lightning) logo symbolize your products and chance to help people with their psychical and healthy/skin problems. Dark background symbolize problems around us on this world. Its something like "the light at the end of the tunnel" in my eyes.. I really like concept of black and white (1st ranked design), but if you want incorporate green color and boost a little marijuana feeling, we can do it on dark background. Uploaded 3 new entries with different dark shades of green background. I like dark cold green on this entry the best. If you google some marijuana logos, you can see most of them works with green color. And i dont think its good way to be the same as all others. Good logo must be different and memorable with own idea. And as i wrote you earlier, the best contrast white vs. black (or dark green) guarantee great readability in small sizes. Thank you again and let me know what do u think about it. DL 6 years ago cannabis commented on #177 Thank you so much for your input!!! I appreciate your feedback on all the elements involved in a successful logo. I am glad you are a cannabis fan. You have the best logo for me and I appreciate it! I want to get your opinion on colors. I understand that red and blue are the most successful colors for logos. Being that this is a cannabis/green product, how can I successfully depict colors? What do you recommend? Thank you 6 years ago cannabis commented on #178 Point well made! Thank you! I agree. 6 years ago DirtyLips commented on #177 And i must write you im big marijuana lover for many years :) Thats why is your contest very interesting for me :) Grow autoflowering plants because climate in Europe is not good for regular ones. Love HAZE strains :) Regards DL 6 years ago DirtyLips commented on #177 Btw. about a font issue.. Im not sure you need very specific font. You have strong and memorable symbol and when you plan use a logo on small sizes, think u need simple and good readable font without complicated details. The font i use here and on 1st ranked design is "Montserrat". Look here how much typefaces contains (from Thin to Black). Its great for work on your others business materials: https://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/montserrat 6 years ago DirtyLips commented on #177 Hi, this is version with circle frame around logo. Im not sure u need this. I like the simplicity of logo. Every new grapic element complicate good impression from feeling of freedom. Now it looks like the bird is closed. But of course, its up to you :) Im olny advised you. DL 6 years ago DirtyLips commented on #178 Hi, this is version with flipped bird. I think as designer that the original (1st ranked version) is much better. People perceive better orientation from left to right - it means progress. Orientation of this entry looks like "coming back" and i think its no good for your business. DL 6 years ago cannabis commented on #171 Thank you for the different fonts. I haven't been able to pick one yet. I was wondering if I could see what the image looks like with the bird flipped the other way. Also, would like to see what the image looks like with a circle around it. Thank you so much 6 years ago DirtyLips commented on #171 This font Aquatico contains very nice specific "A": http://freetypography.com/2015/08/09/free-font-aquatico/ 6 years ago DirtyLips commented on #170 Sinkin Sans: https://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/sinkin-sans 6 years ago DirtyLips commented on #169 This is Serif font "Impressum": https://www.myfonts.com/fonts/urw/impressum/ 6 years ago DirtyLips commented on #168 This is very nice and clear font too. His name is Diavlo and you can look at all characters here: https://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/diavlo 6 years ago cannabis commented on #164 Nice! Thank you. I would like to work a little more on the font of the letters. For example, when you look at designer PRADA or Louis Vuitton, their font is very unique to the brand. I would like to create a unique font for my brand.Thank you 6 years ago DirtyLips commented on #163 Hellou, i played with a details here. The bird and leaf are slimmer now. I think the logo has very clear and healthy feel now. Have a nice day DL 6 years ago DirtyLips commented on #157 Withdrawn Hellou, i played with a details here. The bird and leafs are slimmer now, a little bigger drop of nectar and eye. I think the logo has very clear and healthy feel now. Im here for you. 6 years ago cannabis commented on #133 ok, thank you! 6 years ago DirtyLips commented on #133 Hi, i think this is the smallest one where eye can recognize all details on monitor. In quality print is possible use it smaller. 6 years ago DirtyLips commented on #132 Withdrawn Hi, i think this is the smallest one where eye can recognize all details on monitor. In quality print is possible use it smaller. 6 years ago cannabis commented on #112 Can you make this image as small as possible, where it would still look good. Thank you 6 years ago cannabis commented on #90 Thank you for serrating the leaves. Can you send this to me on the smallest scale, where the image will still look good. Thank you 6 years ago cannabis commented on #50 Any chance you can make the leaves thinner and serrated? Thank you 6 years ago cannabis commented on #50 ok not a problem My business partner is asking if you can make the leaves more subtle, delicate looking and make sure the leaves look like cannabis. Thank you 6 years ago DirtyLips commented on #50 Of course i can but im out of my PC now.. will upload soon 6 years ago cannabis commented on #50 Ok, I understand. Can you please send me the same bird in black only. My understanding is that the logo has to look good also in black. Thank you 6 years ago DirtyLips commented on #50 Hi, its no problem to change color but problem is with a hummimgbird front view. Its very hard draw it. 6 years ago cannabis commented on #50 also, can we see the bird without any color, just black? thank you 6 years ago cannabis commented on #50 I like the bird. Can you try also a bird looking straight forward, meaning the bird makes eye contact with the consumer? 6 years ago
