I did do a somewhat horizontal version of this. I couldn't get it to work completely straight across, but some creative overlapping of the letters formed a nice little scene. #262

I know this is probably impossible but anyway to pull this off horizontally?

Here is an idea of how the logo works and forms a mark all on its own. If you look closely, all of the letters are in the mark creating an outdoor scene of a grassy field with a VW bus, a river with a kayaker, rolling hills with a biker, mountains with a hiker, and finally the sun with a few birds. I believe this mark embodies your slogan “embrace the journey. create a story. attract people.”
The mark can also be animated to create a 10-15 second logo opener for your videos. My thoughts on this were to have the mark appear as is, the bus pulls into frame, the kayaker goes down the river, the bike rides down the hill, then have the letters tumble and rotate away from the scene to spell out “KOMBI”

Sharp corners spaced out a bit more

Thanks for all these different variations. We actually like the harder edge original version the best with less of a pushed in "b" --- could you just space those letters out a little more and see if that creates the character separation?

here is a new version. I gave a roundness to the corners of the letters to soften them and gave a bit more spacing between each.

So our fear was readability when all letters were the same color on high contrast situation. Somewhat confirmed with this one. From a distance the letters start to merge together. Could we see a few versions with maybe 1) a little more spacing or 2) deeper cuts in the K,M,B?

Also, could you do this one in black on white and white on black?

This option continues to move up our list and is becoming a favorite. We live in an area called the Ozark Mountains. Mountain Biking, Kayaking, Hiking, Fly Fishing are all popular activities that we enjoy filming - especially mountain biking. not sure if you could draw inspiration from any of that but thought I would continue to give you insight because you are clearly a front runner for us.

also, possibly a harder edged font, which I know will cause it to lose it's playfulness

this leaves a very cheerful impression. it's fantastic in its simplicity.

could you try something identical but in uppercase lettering for comparison?
