#11 Very attractive graphic. Simple, easy to relate to. However, we wish it would somehow connect to education and/or a kitchen table without becoming complex. Any ideas here?
FYI, your #11 is our #1 at this time. I messed up and didn't put our top choices in order. Have petitioned logotourn to reset the clock. Watch for messages. Sorry for my shortcomings.
In looking at this design I imaginatively see the side-view of a coffee cup - and a coffee cup is always found on a kitchen table. Consider a modified submission that would include the image of a cup handle on the right and the image of a saucer below (perhaps composed of two graphic lines that do no connect). To be consistent with #11, the handle and saucer would not touch the existing image. You are more accomplished with this sort of thing than I am so don't hesitate to submit your own thoughts. Thank you for your participation.
(Have yet to hear from logotourn regarding the extension of this contest.)
Thanks for the update. Looking very good. Couple of suggestion and I hope I can convey them to you well:
A coffee cup (not a mug) most often has a handle that is shaped somewhat like a human ear. From where it is attached to the cup it then goes up, then curves around and down.
I'd like to see the saucer imaged in two pieces, one on the left side that curls towards the bottom, the other on the right. Perhaps each is wider (rounded) at the top and gets narrower as it approaches the bottom. The two images don't quite touch in the center below the body of the cup.
#116 Getting close! Couple of suggested tweeks: 1. Remove the "hook" at the bottom of the handle. 2. Remove a small amount at the top end of the handle. This should cause the style of the handle to be consistent with the style of the saucer.
ALSO: We would like to experiment with a different font for the Kitchen Table Academy name in hopes that it will add a bit more "character" to your logo. What we have in mind is a font that is like something hand-written (printed)--- something like a families grocery list. Your recommendations will be appreciated. Thank you.
120 Oops! One more item. The font is cursive rather than individual letters (print) and I'd like to see the latter. Would also like to see a line underneath Kitchen Table, i.e. between Kitchen Table and Academy.
I plan to end this contest in10 hours. The two top designs will then be submitted to a few people for their vote over the weekend.

I will give you revision, but just wanted to know If you asked #126 by grafikus also to put a line underneath Kitchen Table. If he has put on his own then I will not be able to do it.
I'm going to be shutting the contest down soon. Want to take this opportunity to thank you for your participation, communication, efforts and very pleasing results. It was a privilege to work with you. The top entries will be judged by a few people associated with the Kitchen Table Academy. That process should be completed on or before Tuesday. The two top designs are very comparable in quality and at this point I can't predict how the voting will turn out. The idea that one of the top two competitors will end up with nothing is troubling to us as both designs are "winners". So I will be contacting the website admin to propose that I purchase the 2nd place design for $250. if the 2nd place designer is receptive. This, then, would deservingly create two winners. Sometime in the near future I will start another contest under the name "AltruVentures". I hope you watch for it and participate. Best wishes and thank you again, Kitchen Table Academy
Thank you for giving me this opportunity to create a design for you. I shall surely look forward in participating in your other contest as well. It was a pleasure working with you. With regards to the line in between the word Kitchen Table and Academy I am sorry to let you know that this I cannot do as it is against the rules of logotournament to use other designers elements. If you want anything else then let me know.
