Here is my initial design idea I came up with, after reviewing your brief: #14, #15. I took the distinct geography/map of your area and dropped it into an appropriate nature scene.
I wanted your main logo to be something that would instantly convey into beer labels and look great on your packaging. I also wanted it to be something cool enough that people would wear it on a shirt or hat. One cool thing you could do with shirts is to add a distressed/texture effect to give shirts a cool vintage look: #16, #17.
