This is looking good. I wonder if we could put some small "sun-rays" on the circle so that it clearly looks like a rising sun, not a moon.

I would use a font something like "Rockwell". Something bold, but classy.

Interesting. I really like the boy in the cap and gown. Could you make "KidsPlay" larger on its own line, and "ACADEMY" in smaller all caps below it? I would use a rich dark blue font for "Kids" and a rich dark green font for "Play" with shading on the letters to make it look like its reflecting light. Maybe we could make the circle larger and over top of the boy... maybe using a rich yellow to look like a rising sun?
