Could you make the blue piece of the apple a rich yellow, and then use a rich blue for "Kids" and a rich green for "Play". Another idea would be to use upper and lower case letters, and then put a graduation cap on the dot of the " i ".

I had not thought about using an apple, but it has some appeal. The font would need to be a bit classier, yet still bold and confident. I also want to emphasize the word "Academy" and make it a bit more prominent.
