Good concept. I like the "Kid" part of entries 6 and 7. I would like them better without the kid's head sticking out of the 'd'. I don't think I'm a fan of the 't' shadow either.
I do like the more mature look of entry 5 too (without the 't' shadow). But it's a little too simple.

Appreciate the updates. In thinking about #12, I like the professionalism feel but if it could communicate just a little more 'fun' I might like this concept even more.

I really the like the idea of an icon. Very creative. But unfortunately it's difficult to tell quickly what that icon actually is. I think it might be mistaken for something else. Perhaps a different icon idea altogether? And again, it doesn't have to communicate a religious idea. I would be ok with abstract or something fit the kidnation word.

The last idea include a subtle smile with the letters, that you can see or not.
But i think parents and kids will see it at first view. Just my thoughts.
