Lighter weight for vacation rentals – just to compare.

Update on the dot – waiting for admin, shouldn't be too long.

i think we will get a chance to fine tune it but vacation rentals may have to be slightly smaller

the dot is a standard element of the destination pin in a lot of images around the world

Darker, more deep orange colored shadow under the pin.

Blue 'hopping' line fading out. Looks cleaner than the dots. And a bit more hopping motion indicated.

Dear contest holder — I have had to removed all entries that had a red dot in the middle of the O. I have instead replaced it with a shadow which aligns it with the gradients in the words.

The reason for this is a Logotournament issue in that the dot is claimed by another designer as their own concept. I need to respect that and move on so I've had to remove any affected entries.

I apologise for any confusion.

As I said, I've updated the design, and it gets away from that issue.

colors are perfect. can you make the font less skinny?

I prefer the other without outline - feels bolder, yes.

Well...I think the lettering is too skinny here. Too tight maybe

I've also tightened up the letterspacing in Keyhopper just a touch - this adds to the visual punch of the whole design

More drastic change mid letter giving more of that metallic look.

Stronger red-orange and deeper blue fading upwards.

I like the "e" too…the round shape works with the key shape, it feels friendly yet keeps the clean look to the design.

I'll take a look at colors…

i think this is the one. I am hoping for really saturated colors. almost metallic from bottom to top

pretty great. probably need deeper color oranges. not sure about big E or little e...gonna think on it.

A few variations on the idea. Various placement of vac rentals.

I think that with the activity going on in the top area I like the vacation rentals to act like an underline – not too busy.

Note the richer orange in hopper.

In this one I've tried orange in the 'vac' rentals' — it slightly emphasises the main key image. Just an idea.

If you've got any feedback on this batch that would be great – I'll keep thinking in the mean time.

Regarding the vacation rentals – it seems to work best centred because the key is centred above. But I will show you some options though.

I'm glad the happy aspect is working - it just makes it a bit more fun and appealing, a bit more character.

"Hop To It"

this is a great logo. I do believe the notion to create an iconic key is super important. not sure what else I would do here except maybe play with deeper oranges or color variation or even texture.

Again, this is great, it does look happy..the happier the better,


maybe some different size or placement of vacation rentals..but that is good too. if you have a place for the "Hot To It" slogan maybe that would put it over the top. i like the teeth in the keys!

I've tried to make the key unique and identifiable as "your" key – so that it can be used as an icon in social media and online profiles.

Variation with some teeth on the key, and a location dot in the O.

Smart yet still has a fun element – which is what vacationing is all about.

This is my first update. I'm still exploring other ideas for landing/hopping etc.

A small shadow gives the icon a landed look.
Note on this one a very small accent added to emphasise the 'smile'. I'm uploading another of this design without that to compare.

I'll be a while getting other ideas together.

congrats. I love your style and need to work closely to dial it in. colors are great. I probably will ask that we change the E's to normal E so it is easier to read the word. it is a made up word so don't want to confuse folks.

can you put some sort of motion in the key so it looks like it bounces, or has landed on its location? I also love some of your others that made the key look to be smiling. I want a really friendly logo.

Key elevated above a shadow gives the hopping impression.

Keeping the clean, modern look and adding a small touch of hopping movement.
