A number of people in my group like the design concept of #5 just not the color scheme. The half ball is also a concern.

You were correct, looks like the original colors in #5 are better. Had another thought that I illustrated here(I'm obviusly not a designer) http://ntxreferees.org/logo.htm. Much smaller ball in foreground with green and flag in background.

#12 missed the mark.

Hi!. I see what you have in mind. I´m uploading 4 different entries. 2 different proportions for ball and flag and 2 versions in small size so you see how they will look when printed in small sizes (stuff you would use in cards or other small pieces). Please let me know what you think.

Thanks!.

I like the overall look of #18. When I first saw it, the 'green' looked like a large hole, particularly since the flag was at an angle. I don't know if swapping the two green colors would resolve that or not. The size of the 'green' in #20 is more to my liking as it seems to flow with the other two colors nicer (same spacing as other two colors). I'm not sure that I like the flag at that much of an angle but I should know better when there's contrast between it and the 'green'.
thanks, good stuff

Hi!

I´ve uploaded new versions. Different colors and shape for the "green". Please let me know your thoughts. I think the result is really clean, easy to reproduce and memorable :)

Lets reduce the size of the flag on #27 like #18.
