This would be awesome if you could make the ball in center, shiny like a stainless steel pinball ball itself. Kind of like this site has for the pinball http://www.pinballlife.com/, or maybe this by the logo http://marcospecialties.com/
really liking #68 and #69, can you change the flipper color to yellow just to see how that looks please? maybe even change my name to green? not sure how that would look but we'll see.
Just to point out that the neon green you see in enty #89 is an rgb (web) color and can not be achieved with cmyk which is used for printing as you can see in entry #90. You can even see a bit of dulling in the blue, but it's not as severe as with greens.
I noticed you seem to be going in a different direction than the design I offered so I decided to move on and withdraw my entries and to be quite honest with you, it is a bit disheartening to see others utilizing ideas that I brought to the contest i.e. the pinball and flipper(s) and then being moved ahead of me.
Please know that I mean absolutely no disrespect and my intention is not to upset you or derail your contest in any way and quite often this happens as a result of contest holders not specifically directing designers as to what they want to see in a design prior to any submissions.
But unfortunately this is a competition and only one person will be compensated for their time and effort so anything that is presented that was not directly asked for is what sets that designer apart from other entries and although the concept of a pinball and flipper as an exclamation point is not what I had intially presented, I feel it was something you could have suggested I try since it was an evolution of my intial ideas as opposed to asking other designers to do so.
I honestly want you to have the best logo that fits yours needs so I appologize for any incovenience and if you decide that my logo is the one you want to go with, I would be happy to reinstate it. I wish you the very best of luck.
Sorry but I told everyone that same thing to try the metallic ball. Well you were the front runner and still interested in your logos but was testing another guy cause he said that you had to be ranked first to change things....and I was between you and his.
Hey there, can you try diff colors that might make 92 more readable on like a marquee type? I like this one also but I think Flashbax part is a little tough to see on a sign maybe.
That's looks better on the newer logo! Hey on the first. Hey on 69 and 91 can you change flipper to point down instead of up like a pinball machine would look while playing? Looks almost like we lost the ball already haha
#97 Let me know if you like the configuration of the ball and flippers (I downscaled the size of the ball a bit but if you liked it larger, I can change it back) and then I will change the blue flippers as well.
Yeah I think I like the ball size and smaller is kinda sideways and not centered either. I am between you and another for sure and don't want to offend you cause you are still front runner just lookin at my options for my business. I'm temp goin to put his in first to see his options but seriously doubt ill like it as much! Yours will be back into first right after. I actually like both of your designs too!
Ok I just was talking to a body and my printer, he was thinking I might have too many colors for printers to keep the cost down! I'm sure you understand what he means! They were saying to worry about the actual design and can always change colors later thru illustrator....didn't know that! Anyway, if you have any suggestions for these including 96 cause I still like that design too! Tryin to get something with several backgrounds that will show up well(blk, white, and color maybe).
He also said its almost just as cheap up to 4 colors nowadays. How many colors are you using and doesn't a fade count for several? Got me worried about fades now maybe.
The cost depends on the printing process. If you are using 4 color process, the amount of colors has no bearing on the cost as the image is broken down in to 4 color plates (cmyk). If you are using PMS or spot color, (which uses a separate premixed ink for each color) then the cost will rise depending on the amount of inks used. Digital printing is another process that also does not rely on the amount of color used to determine cost.
And yes for the contest, it is best to just focus on the design aspect and once you choose a design you want to go with, anything else can be adjusted if need be after the contest. Most designers are happy to give you full support after the contest is complete.
Hi again, don't mean to bug you but is it easy for you to put different color backgrounds on the one i like(97) just to see if the lettering will come out good and make it pop?
Ok well that's ok, no biggie! I was just trying to what colors I can put onto as far as shirts, marquees etc. without always being a black. No biggie though thanks.
Then I would suggest outlining the design in black or another dark color so that it stays on a dark background but you can then use other colors behind it. Did you want to see something like that?
Ok awesome, thanks again! I like yours the most, just did't want to make a bad decision on a logo so that I wouldn't be limited on printing on multiple items.
#109 and #110 outlined in black. And you can make it thick or thinner if you would like. I also arched the bottom of the work "Arcade" to add a bit interest and then you can also angle the design such as in 110. Please let me know what you think or if there is something else you would like to see?
That's better cause I could put that on black white or any color! Although not a pink person, daughters are! Lol. I think I like my name in the other blue like "arcade" is in(kinda looks turquoise now). Other than that, I does look cool I think.
The name is actually white outlined in light blue so I didn't change that, not sure why it appears turquoise:) Do you want me to make it the same colors as "arcade"? Which is light blue with a darker blue outline.
Well maybe a lighter arcade and keep darker blue outline. I can't even tell my name has an outline cause of the size...will prob look fine when on other stuff resized larger!
Ok, great! I did try one other option #112 with the arcade and name in blue and the name just a wee bit smaller. But if you think of anything else you want to see, let me know :)
Ok can u do 111 with Flashbax with a slightly bigger font? Or bigger options? I really like that one I think just wanna see options to make Flashbax stand out a bit more. It might not look good though
Haha we were kinda thinking same thing! My goal is largest to smallest.....Flashbax then Arcade then name in font sizes to stand out. So I think maybe just a larger font of Flashbax might do it. I do like the darker blue also on 112
