Great logos - thank you! I really like the rank 1st, maybe with a different font but still modern. Love the 2nd too, maybe in a different color, aqua or lime green.
Thank you for the feedback, I will work on the revisions and hopefully it will turn into something solid, coherent and of your taste. Having a good logo is very important!
I do like #60, it's very creative, but I think the heart stands out a little too much. I still really like #43, now I'm wondering if we should try different fonts ?
Wow - you just keep cranking these out! Thank you! First of all, I really like the way you flipped #81 - I think the B is easier to read. I really like #123, but the Kathy and the Design stand out more than the Barajas - and I would rather the Barajas be darker (or just stand out more) than the others. I really like what you did with #122 - it's a touch more slender, modern, and feminine than your original #14. Wonderful work!!
And here as a vertical signature. Please note that the logo can have both, it depends on how you want to use it. For example, for a website banner it is wise to use horizontal but for a business card... it stands out more with the vertical layout!
Wonderful! Yes, I do like the possiblity of horizontal or vertical signatures! I would like the block to have some kind of frame or something (?), just so that it can stand on it's own. or maybe a top and bottom thin line and not sides. We are missing the D, any way you can incorporate that - like you did in #23.
The thing is, and maybe it's too clever, that the inside pieces of the B are meant to picture B and also D (as its shape is the same) but I can try something different.
I think that the #1 is SUPER SOLID but I can't help it... I'm obsessed with my work ))) Here's a revision for the other concept you like. It reminds me of a maze and I also think it's a clever concept. Some sort of play with space.
Yes, I can tell you are obsessed with your work! I'm getting that way too! It seems like there is a way to combine #131 and #122, I think #131 needs a little something extra - half frame or something ? Then I would like to see a little more stylized font for the type and not sure if I'm sold on the color, maybe just toned down ? Still love #136 (love the maze and it is a very clever concept) - again, font/color and would that look good going horizontal?
Hi! I'm loving this logo! Had to sleep on it last night and it's been a busy day today.
So, here are my thoughts: 1. Another/more color - Slate Blues, Gray, Orange, still like the Green (maybe a little Pink) 2. Text/ fonts - FYI, I particularly like the fonts in #63 (ranked 7) and #87 (ranked 8) and maybe larger? 3. I'm thinking about using my full name - Kathryn Barajas Design - so i would like to see how that looks.
Awesome contest, by the way. Loved getting all of those last minute submissions! I got a little obsessed....
Hello Kathryn, I will post the revisions soon. As for the font my advice is: I can show you something with a little more detail but #63 and #87 have some problems with readability and they sort of interfere with the logo's concept you rated as #1. I am only concerned about the harmony because the font is supposed to support the logo but not to smother it in terms of visual hierarchy.
Yes, I understand the relation of the logo and the font, and you're right about visual hierarchy. I just wanted you to have an idea of the type of fonts I like, but I'm completely open to what you think would work best. I want my name to stand out a bit more, and would like an interesting font that I could use for business cards, letterheads, etc. I'm sure you already have a solution for those things and maybe it's not even changing the font. ?
