Hello, sir/madam,

I will show several ideas. Please take a look at my LT Portfolio. I hope you like my work.

Best,
João

Great logos - thank you! I really like the rank 1st, maybe with a different font but still modern. Love the 2nd too, maybe in a different color, aqua or lime green.

Thank you for the feedback, I will work on the revisions and hopefully it will turn into something solid, coherent and of your taste. Having a good logo is very important!

Thank you!! #14, I love the dark gray. but I think Barajas needs to stand out a little more.

Logo Designer
Maybe darker?

Thank you! I really like the simplicity of #22, maybe in other colors? I like what you did with #23 - can you try that in a mix of colors?

Client
Thank you - I love #43. And can you do #44 with the "D"?

Logo Designer
Yes, thank you. I will work on it!

WOW, I just had a great idea, combining two of my concepts. Using the negative space for the B BUT having the geometric shapes. Let me show you!

Logo Designer
This was the concept which triggered the next I'm about to submit.

Another idea. All 3 letters in one shape.

I do like #60, it's very creative, but I think the heart stands out a little too much. I still really like #43, now I'm wondering if we should try different fonts ?

New idea.

I really like #78, can I see it in an aqua? And maybe for #43 adding a color to BARAJAS - like you did in #78.

ON IT. I really it too, I'm breaking my brains with that concept!!! )))

Wow - you just keep cranking these out! Thank you! First of all, I really like the way you flipped #81 - I think the B is easier to read. I really like #123, but the Kathy and the Design stand out more than the Barajas - and I would rather the Barajas be darker (or just stand out more) than the others. I really like what you did with #122 - it's a touch more slender, modern, and feminine than your original #14. Wonderful work!!

I'm not giving up on you)) Revisions coming!! Thanks for the constructive attitude!

Colors on the wordmark are inverted here.

And here as a vertical signature. Please note that the logo can have both, it depends on how you want to use it. For example, for a website banner it is wise to use horizontal but for a business card... it stands out more with the vertical layout!

Client
Wonderful! Yes, I do like the possiblity of horizontal or vertical signatures! I would like the block to have some kind of frame or something (?), just so that it can stand on it's own. or maybe a top and bottom thin line and not sides. We are missing the D, any way you can incorporate that - like you did in #23.

Client
Just another thought - seems like you can add the curve of the D after the negative space from the B somehow, and maybe lines on the sides. ?

Logo Designer
The thing is, and maybe it's too clever, that the inside pieces of the B are meant to picture B and also D (as its shape is the same) but I can try something different.

Logo Designer
Hmmm.. you're right, this definitely looks more interesting!

Wonderful - Thank you!
You're right, it was too clever - I didn't get the B also pictured the D until you explained it to me...

Logo Designer
I think that the #1 is SUPER SOLID but I can't help it... I'm obsessed with my work )))
Here's a revision for the other concept you like. It reminds me of a maze and I also think it's a clever concept. Some sort of play with space.

Client
Yes, I can tell you are obsessed with your work! I'm getting that way too!
It seems like there is a way to combine #131 and #122, I think #131 needs a little something extra - half frame or something ? Then I would like to see a little more stylized font for the type and not sure if I'm sold on the color, maybe just toned down ? Still love #136 (love the maze and it is a very clever concept) - again, font/color and would that look good going horizontal?

Logo Designer
Let me get back to you with these revisions. Thanks!

oOOhh.. second place? Come one.. honestly, that design sucks! I'm still working on the revisions but this is demoralizing...

Logo Designer
I'm sorry for my comment.. but I felt frustrated. Here's a blend of the two concepts.

Really like #225, by the way...

Yes, I like the frame. Adds some strength and coherency.

Are you doing anything to #136? A frame or something?

And it also works very well with the horiz, layout.

#251, very funny. my friend (that I'm talking with on the phone) wants you to put a line on the K - she can't see the K and just sees a triangle.

Hi! I'm loving this logo! Had to sleep on it last night and it's been a busy day today.

So, here are my thoughts:
1. Another/more color - Slate Blues, Gray, Orange, still like the Green (maybe a little Pink)
2. Text/ fonts - FYI, I particularly like the fonts in #63 (ranked 7) and #87 (ranked 8) and maybe larger?
3. I'm thinking about using my full name - Kathryn Barajas Design - so i would like to see how that looks.

Awesome contest, by the way. Loved getting all of those last minute submissions! I got a little obsessed....

Logo Designer
Hello Kathryn, I will post the revisions soon. As for the font my advice is: I can show you something with a little more detail but #63 and #87 have some problems with readability and they sort of interfere with the logo's concept you rated as #1. I am only concerned about the harmony because the font is supposed to support the logo but not to smother it in terms of visual hierarchy.

Client
Yes, I understand the relation of the logo and the font, and you're right about visual hierarchy. I just wanted you to have an idea of the type of fonts I like, but I'm completely open to what you think would work best. I want my name to stand out a bit more, and would like an interesting font that I could use for business cards, letterheads, etc. I'm sure you already have a solution for those things and maybe it's not even changing the font. ?

Thanks for trusting my instincts. Yes, I believe minor tweaks are enough. I will submit soon ))
