if you would like to see any variations (fonts, colors, form adj. or just suggestions), please feel free to request. Feedback and direction welcome. thx. C
Thanks for the feedback and direction! Much appreciated. Let me know if this K is better for you or if you'd like to see others. And if there are any other colors for the construction letters.
Happy to do so. Do you have anything specific to suggest as far as variations (besides removing the LLC? (colors, fonts, form changes, combinations? Things you don't like, parts you do?) Again, thanks so much for the feedback and direction. C
how about adding an element of fire, electricity, and/or energy to the logo -- some of the things that are present on a construction project (in addition to the brushed metal)? i wish i could be more specific but i'm not that creative, unfortunately. thanks.
how about something like an energon cube (like from transformers) -- electricity and/or energy swirling inside a cube encased wholly or partially in metal? kind of like a construction site. your thoughts on this idea would also be appreciated. thanks.
I just looked up energon cubes. I am definitely willing to work on the idea. The images shown on the google image search were mostly of transparent boxes filled with spots/bursts of color, but i might be able to work with some overlay colors on a metal finish to get a related effect. I wouldn't have anything ready until sometime tomorrow though I am guessing. Would that be alright? C
I Literally was just trying to upload when you switched me to 2nd. If you can switch me back to first again long enough for me to upload these 4 samples, let me know.
okay. thanks. they are up. I tried doing something color overlays on the metal, but it comes across too suble to be okay for a logo. So I tried other forms of "energy" coming from the box. If you would like me to try anything else (i could do separate globes of colors with may soft edges, or different shapes of color with soft edges eminating from the box...?
Anyway, if there is anything more you would like me to try, please message me. thanks. C
well, they are cool. Couple of problems though is a box like that probably isn't going to hold it's own if it's not on black, so would probably limit it's use (and if you try to use something you have only seen on a black background, it is going to look totally different in size/boldness, etc. because black backs sort of intensify everthing and make light or white seem "bigger", so unless you contain it within a black circle or square or whatever so the black is always part of the logo, you will be very surprised at what it looks like without). Second, both of those look like they are made in a non-vector program, which we are required to use vector programs so that your logo will be easily scalable, etc. 3, if i make the box metal or partially metal (especially brushed), you won't be able to do this. I can, and will try to some of the effects in the vector program around a box (one that might be worth trying for is the http://www.shutterstock.com/pic-68075968/stock-photo--d-electronic-circuit-cube-with-energy-beam-of-rays.html. That might be possible to do something somewhat similar, and am willing to put some time into it now to see if I can come up with something more in that direction if you would like. I might also be able to do a box shape with colored light being contained and eminating from it if none of the box has to be metal.
Another idea is that you could use a more basic logo that work well with an image like that and consider using an item like that within a brochure or truck wrap graphic in combo with the logo as illustration.
Let me know if you'd like me to try something like the one in the link i listed above (effect-wise), let me know. Am willing to explore it and put some time into now if you would. And, if it just doesn't look like it would be possible, i could let you know. C
if there is anything more you would like me to play with. (like all tones of blue within the box or..... let me know. Or if you see any direction you might like to take what i have forward, let me know.
Thanks for the opportunity, one way or another. :-) C
ps: also i have a version of 357 with the KC parts of the emblem that are in the middle (currently in light blue and which currently are contained in the form of the K built around it) and the word construction both in royal blue and the full name on the side KAVIN in the brushed metal. As well as the version noted in the above note.
Also, still willing to make adjustments or variations if you have anything else (combos of various pieces, or change of colors or, if you have any desire to see).
I also just did a version of 358 (currently 2nd pl) with the letters in KAVIN adjusted so that the KA are joined, giving a more even look to the spacing of the word. Just an fyi c
