OK so we really need a bit more information... but since I teach 6th grade at my synagogue I encourage some Jewish theme for the 'look' - but I am also a realist and I know teens... so is there a theme, tell us a bit about Kate so we can make a logo specifically for her... feedback helps. If no theme - what is the date and the parasha she will be reading - I also encourage my 'kids' to take the theme from the reading IF POSSIBLE - I know some are impossible that way - What is her Hebrew name - sometimes that works well for a Bat Mitzvah logo also - The more we know the better the logo you will get.
Shana Tova.... and I hope to be able to get a good logo for Kate.
Thank you for our first entry, but entry # 1 too oriented to the jewish theme. Kate would really like something more like a a stylized logo incorporating her initials and maybe the date (3/17/12). This is for use at the party, which is at a clubby, industrial space. The green should be darker and more of an accent color. The orange and gray should be the primary colors. maybe a more modern looking font. Thanks!
That is what I thought - but I had to try.... I will do some that are "less Jewish" but still maybe has some small Judaic design.... It is a celebration of her becoming a Jewish person of responsibility! I will make it more subtle.
On 3/17/12 the part of Torah she is to read is wonderful - a reminder about Sabbath, building of the ark in the desert among other things... and the Haftarah is about the completion of the first Temple in Jerusalem... that would be amazing things to build a party around - too bad she doesn't want to embrace the Jewish themes from the content of her service she will help to lead that day.
i like the circle very much. could you do a circle between the numbers instead of the star?? not sure we will like it but wanted to see... or maybe just 3.17.12 and the periods are green? or gray? not sure...
