hello!

here my first entries for your review. i incorporated the flame and tried to add the "subtle tribal feel" you requested. the logo is simple and elegant and thus easily remembered and recognizable. any feedback or suggestions are very welcome! =)

greetings from berlin,

They are all very nice and this was something of what we originally thought of, simple and elegant but also containing that tribal feel, is there anyway you can make more of that 'tribal'? I think keep the flame top half of the flame as it is, the way its curved and everything is very nice, but if there's any chance of making more of it and this image whilst keeping it rather simple would be nice,
Two tone perhaps with tribal workings going through the flame, so two tones of red? I'm not sure, not a design person myself, so I'll leave that decision up to your creativity,

Thanks,

hello! thanks for the nice feedback and ranking. =) i have altered the flame and divided it into two tones with a gradient. i have also submitted some font variations to emphasize the "tribal" theme a bit more. is this the right direction? what do you think?

cheers,

dodi

Right on #89 is there anyway to add the tribal tattoos that most people have,
This is probably the more difficult bit I'd be asking for, not to take away from anything you've done just add to it.
The use of the tribal tattoos is not to be so obvious, its more of something that when printed large, on T-Shirts, Websites etc. its obvious but when small its rather less obvious and blends in with everything
Hopefully you understand what I mean, if you don't just shoot a message back,
Its a very subtle thing but also difficult to add I'm sure, with the Two tones it might be easier but also may look even better...

Thanks,

hey, thanks for th feedback =)

hmm...i'm not quite sure i understand though. do you want the flame to be more complex? with more "parts" so to speak? or maybe just refining the edges of the flame a bit? or do you want a tribal-pattern going through the whole flame? thanks for clarifying!

There are plenty more links, but these are just a few that show the western design of Tribal tattoos, I would like for a similar design if not a much more unique and elegant looking one going through the flame,
the flame to be a bit more spread perhaps, just slightly, not a lot but just slightly,

Another version of design that is what we wanted but many don't seem to know is the design that is on this logo,
http://www.reaper-studios.com/Reaper_Studios/studios.html
The very background of the logo is what I would count as pacific island tribal design,
the surroundings is a lot more of an elegant version of the western tribal design with a mix of the pacific island design,
This would be nice to have going through the flame,
and potentially even a replacement for the bottom line below the flame,
Also the edges of flame can be refined further if you wish but if you also want you can even have some of this design once you grasp it come out from the flame, as if its flourish from the flame, although this is optional as the basic point is to have it through the whole flame but to make it a subtle point rather then one that takes away from the actual flame.

Hopefully you understand now, if you don't just throw another comment back and I'll try to explain further,

Thanks,

#115 is nice and big, very clear, if you could further this tribal pattern and perhaps add back in a base for the blame or just wrap the bottom of the flame up, so that its like a ball at the bottom, also if you could place it against black, would like to see the way in which it compares between white and black :) thanks,

hello, i'm back with new entries. i have simplified the flame and reduced it to one form - as i still believe a simple logo and a simple form will transfer best to all types of media (esp. t-shirts) and is the most concise.
