Kaleidoscope Family GymLogo Design Contest

Hi,
This one caught my eye. I like the design, the colors, the people.
But, the family is a little too traditional for today's world - mom/dad/two kids. Any way to change up the family dynamic? Or make it less gender specific?

Hi, I like your thoughts for my logo, but everyone is coming up with the same general type of design. Can we try something different? We are a family gym, focused on autistic kids. (please avoid puzzle pieces) The Kaleidoscope idea is important, but can we do something with people figures? or a splash of color.
Just looking for something that really grabs me.
