#8, #9, #10 -- I like the look. I am not sure about the multi-colors due to printing cost for letterhead, etc. Also, the subtle differences are lost on me.

#44 This is good -- however, what other colour besides grey could work? I am not sure if grey stands out enough (especially the slogan might get missed). Even though our current logo is in burgandy, we are not opposed to looking at other options if you want to give it a try. And when I said "not black", I meant not as the primary colour.
