You've moved to number 1! Ok- to tweak #90 we had the following thoughts: No yellow dot- what about a white (or purple) drop instead? (like a drop of juice). Also can the orange have a vintage look to it? Like it fades out a little on one side. I'm not sure what that's called. We still haven't figured out how to incorporate the green and purple. Maybe a purple outline, like on #103?
Thanks for the ranking & feedback! I am away from my design computer until approx. 6pm CDT but I will submit some revised designs as soon as I get back. Thanks again, Don
Hello, I noticed that another designer had used a drip for the dot of the 'i' in their design so I sent them a private message stating that you asked me to dot my 'i' with a drip. They do have the claim to that concept as their original idea & unfortunately I can't use that idea. I'll try to come up with something different besides a drip to dot the 'i' with. (maybe a swirl of some sort?) I hope you understand, I'm just trying to play within the rules. I will submit some variations as soon as I get back to my design computer. Thanks, Don
We totally understand! Thank you for being honest and bringing your concern to the table. I would say a majority of the other designers used drops and leaves- but I can see how this late in the game it may be perceived negatively. In no way were we trying to use someone elses' idea! I hope the other designer knows that too. Again thank you for being upfront!
We have seen some swirls already, and my partner really doesn't like them. So let's just keep it a dot.
Also- we are thinking we may want to include the word Dallas in the design. We don't want it to overpower or change the existing logo. We were thinking perhaps in smaller font near the bottom in a diagonal, or up in the top corner or something.
Our goal is to start in Dallas and expand to other markets. So someday we will have "Just Juice Dallas", "Just Juice Houston" etc.
For now we are only in Dallas but think it would be a neat added element.
Thanks for your understanding, in my opinion I think using the drip as the dot should be open, but the rules are pretty strict. Here are a few revisions #130 #131 #132 Let me know if these are heading in the right direction towards creating the perfect logo for you. Thanks again, Don
#134 is now our favorite. We really like Dallas incorporated. We are going back and forth about whether we want Dallas inside or outside the shape! I think we want to keep all the letters white (no color on the dot). Really like the shading... is it possible to have a little less white space in the shading, toned down a little? Overall we love where you're going! Thank you!!
Thanks, here is the revised design with the white dot & the distressed look toned down a little. I'll show you how it looks with 'Dallas' outside of the shape as well. Thanks again, Don
These are great! We really love #139. I need to get my partner's input but I don't have any revisions at this time. He may like to see the option of "Dallas" inside the green circle with the circle outside the shape (like #130).
